MDS Blog Hop!!

Hi everyone!  It is MDS Blog Hop time again!  The second and fourth Thursday of each month the MDS Blog Hop team links our blogs together to showcase all that you can do with My Digital Studio! We love it and we want you to love it too!  This time we are celebrating fathers!  Hopefully you have just hopped here from Cori's blog "My Creative Chat".  If not, click the links and hop all the way around so you can see what everyone came up with for this Father's Day Hop!

My page is celebrating my father and that he is here for Father's Day.  He had a hard fought battle with cancer and is making his way back into normal life this year.  My parents are such a big part of our lives and the lives of my children. Is was such an odd time not having them around for such a long time.  I remember the first time Grandpa came out for a band concert, the little two wouldn't leave him alone, both wanting his full attention during the whole concert. They were so happy to have him out and about again. We all love Grandpa/Dad so much!
This page uses a digital stamp called "Look up to Father" and there is none better than mine to look up to.  The stamp reads "A father is someone to look up to, no matter how tall you've grown."

This stamp brush is available digitally for just $1.95 and I just love that big tree.  I used the crop tool to separate the tree from the sentiment, and to make the sentiment into 4 lines instead of just 2.  Digital stamps are just so easy to work with.  I made my tree a full 11 inches!  I also colored it with the coloring brush an reduced the opacity to 60%.  (I can't decide on if I want to print it at the reduced opacity or full color, so if you like one better let me know)

Here it is with the tree at 100%.  Which do you like?

Next up on your hop is Holly!  You are in for something great there I am sure! Click the link below to continue on with our Father's Day Hop!
