Customize Project Life for Breast Cancer

There is a wonderful teacher at school who is fighting breast cancer.  She truly is inspirational.  I was always impressed with how she handled the class room, all the kids and the chaos, always with a smile, always warm and friendly.  I know she is a scrapbooker and thought she might like to try Project Life while she is at home resting.  It is simple and she could do it with her little girls.  I bought her a Happiness is card pack and an album, but I thought it would be nice to make some custom cards as well.

I made cards in all sizes, including journaling cards and accent cards.

I cut a bunch of extra paper so she can create her own.

Some extra embellishments and ribbon.

I used the "draw the line' stamp set for the journaling lines and some borders.

One of the nice things about the Photopolymer stamps is their flexibility.  I wrapped the lines around a smaller block when I wanted a card with lines that didn't go all the way across the page.

Thank You for stopping by! I hope you found something useful in today's post.  maybe you will be inspired to make your own custom cards.

  1. OMGosh!!! This whole bundle is simply gorgeous and do believe there will be tears when you give them to her! This is simply amazing! I too have a friend who is battling breast cancer... I do not know if she is a scrapbooker but her outlook and the way she is going into battle with her cancer is so admirable... I am thinking this is a great way to show your admiration. Thanks for sharing your wonderful, heartwarming gift and I hope you feel honored if I decide to
CASE some of your projects shown here. Thanks for sharing these with all of us and You are truly an amazing soul for thinking of doing this for your friend!
