Easter Bunny, Baby Chick and a Groundhog :)

Hello everyone!  I thought I would share some last minute Easter projects.  I know it's too late to place an order for an Easter set and get it in time for this Sunday, but the first one uses some items that most stampers have!  The Top Note Die is an essential in so many punch art projects and also is a great card background too! And most of us have circle, square and oval punches right? If you don't, think about adding these essentials to your next order.  I received this cutie in a swap with some other demonstrators and I thought it was just so cute! My kids loved it too.

His head is just a Top Note die folded in half.  Add two eyes made from the small oval punch and half inch circle punch. Some White gel pen makes his eyes twinkle.  The beak is just a square folded in half.  The wings are a scallop circle punch cut in half.  So Simple!!
Here are all the parts.

This next card uses a new Easter set called Happy Easter Bunny.  That bunny sure does look happy :)  I used all the colors from the soon to be retiring In-colors 2013-2015 marker set.  The card is  made from the three largest ovals in the Ovals framelits die.

And everyone needs a "Happy Belated Groundhog's Day" card right?  No?  It's just me?
My sister-in-law's birthday is groundhogs day and I keep forgetting to give her a card and I will see her on Easter so I whipped this one up fast.  I didn't have a groundhog stamp, so I had to draw it myself but I think she turned out really cute.  I put a festive hat on her head and typed out my greeting.  I kept it simple, and inside will be my note and a gift card.

Not sure why, but I like typing out my words this way and cutting them out.  :)

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you have a blessed Easter!

  1. Haha! You should make your own stamp! First thing I wondered when I saw the card was, where can I get that stamp! Great drawing job and adorable card!

    1. Thanks Michelle. I thought about carving a stamp but chickened out. One of these days I have got to carve into that "undefined" stamp carving kit I bought over a year ago! LOL.
