Pinterest Challenge

I was talking with a friend the other day about how I like to look at Pinterest.  She asked what I like to pin.  I said that I liked card ideas and home ideas, recipes, sketch and watercolor ideas.  So then she asked if I ever actually used these ideas. hmmmm... I guess not very often.  But I have reasons! Like the home stuff is for later when I remodel the house.  Recipes are for if I ever through a party.  Card ideas I do sometimes use for a class.  But I never actually do the watercolor ideas or the sketch ideas.  I thought that since I had a somewhat easy day today, I would play around with my Aqua Painters and do some watercolor.  Here is the original pin.  Her flowers are so much better than mine, well so is the jar but her flowers are wow better.
But this is so fun!  I highly recommend to my stampy friends to get out their ink pads and aqua painters and play around, its like therapy! But cheaper!  I had coffee, music, and a table fun off ink pads!  I used Smokey Slate, Soft Sky, Rose Red, Always Artichoke and So Saffron on this one.

For this one I used my fine tip micron pen and made a super quick sketch, then used Aqua Painters to color it in.  It certainly is not as nice as the original, here, but it was still fun and I am glad that I did it.
I used Strawberry Slush, Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Old Olive and River Rock.

quick sketch, then add color.

I tried to just let it be on this one and not over think it.  Not sure about what I think but maybe if I try it a few more times I will like the results.

So, are you a pinner?  If so, go do one of the things you pinned!  It will make all the time spend on the site feel more worth while, and you will have some fun!
