Final Days

Hi Everyone! We are in the Final days to get items from the Occasions Catalog!  There are still some
great deals to be had on retiring products as well.  Some of my favorites include the papers!  'Pop of Pink'  and 'This Christmas' are really great papers to have on hand.   The 'This Christmas' paper has 24 (not the usual 12) sheets of thinner specialty paper, my favorite being the music notes, great for collage art and Christmas cards and ornaments.  Don't forget to pick up some of the punches too! I love my paper punches.
I also want to point out even though some of the current stamp sets are going to carry over into the new catalog, if they are bundled now with a coordinating die set or punch at 10% discount, they will not be bundles in the new catalog, so now is the time to get them.  This includes things like the 'Best Birds' bundle, the 'Falling Flowers' bundle, 'Jar of Love' (one of my favs),  'Foxy Friends', 'Sunshine Sayings', 'Dragonfly Dreams' and so much more.   Bundles are only offered when the sets premier, so we can look forward to a host of new bundles in the new catalog.
And don't forget to print out my frequent buyer rewards sheet (located under my blog header) and track your orders so you can get rewarded.  Orders over $150 get rewards right away, you will be prompted to choose your Stampin' Rewards at checkout.  As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions!!

Balloon Adventrues Pop Up

Hi Everyone! In just a few short days the Occasions catalog will retire!  There are so many fun things on sale right now and I thought I would share a couple of the best deals with you.  I was one of the Display Stampers at a Stampin' Up! event where this set was introduced, and I made a lot of samples with it for the display board.  The stamp set is really fun and has a great pop up die to matched it.  You can also use the pop up die flat, so it is very versatile.

Here are many of my samples.   I think this is a fun die set for scrapbooks too!

The stamps work with the Balloon paper punch as well!

I used the Party Animal designer series paper on all my samples.  This paper is on sale now too!!

I love the cross coordination with other Stampin' Up! products, like this Balloon punch.
And the Party Animal paper coordinates with another die set called Wish Big Framelits.

Normally I would tell you to buy the stamps and dies together as a bundle, but this time, don't!! If you buy the Balloon Adventure die now, it is $16.99 and so with the stamp set it comes to $42.99, which is less expensive than the bundle price of only 10% off.
Be sure to also check out the Party Animal paper and Washi and Embellishments, which are also all on sale!!
I have a lot of samples with this bundle, so if you purchase it, I will be sure to send several! Don't delay, there are only a few days left!

Fidget Spinner Birthday Card

Hi Everyone!  I have a quick post and video to share that is only going to appeal to a limited audience.  If you have an elementary or middle school kid, you know what a Fidget Spinner is.  They are all over and my kids have them, as it seems all kids do. I see kids with them at restaurants and my friends who are teachers tell me that they have to confiscate them from kids several times a day.  So, even though I am not a fan, the kids are, so this card is for them :)   My youngest son and daughter both have birthday parties coming up, so I thought these would be fun to make.  I saw one on YouTube by a person named Maymay, and made my own version using Stampin' Up! products.
I used the Number of Years stamp set, such a great set, and the Party Animal designer series paper for my card.  I have a template here if you want to trace it.

Head over to the my online store to check out all the great deals on retiring products right now.  There are so many great deals !!!

Layering Backgrounds ~ Rose Wonder stamp set

Hi Everyone.
Sometimes you need an extra special card. I needed one that expressed my deep caring for a friend and I wanted to make it special and convey caring. I thought about this stamp set called Rose Wonder that has this great sentiment that I know she will appreciate.  I thought I would share it with you to show the layering that you can do to a background to make it extra special.

I applied a watercolor wash and then some stamped off sentiments, and then some stenciling and finally some embellishments.
I used the cut out leaf first as a stencil on the back, then flipped it back over to glue to the card front.

The inside needed some extra attention as well, so I stamped another sentiment and added a flower too.

I made a step by step video for the background, which you can see here.

Pop Up Paper Dolls ~ Crafting Forever stamp set

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share this new stamp set with you! I just love it! It is called "Crafting Forever". The name its self is great but I love love love the pot of paint brushes, as my favorite thing to do is use my Aqua Painter, and the scissors are super cute!

When I read the sentiment "We are cut out to be friends I thought of two things, cookie cutters (because I love to bake and do every year with friends) and paper dolls.

In addition to the new stamp set, I am also using some new paper and embellishments.  The paper is called "Color Theory" and comes in a 6 x 6 paper stack of 48 sheets. Don't you love that Paint chip look?   Also check out the little glitter enamel dots.  They come in a pack of 160 in a variety of sizes and shades of Berry Burst, Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Dapper Denim.

The paper doll chain pops up out off of the card base as you open it and it is just a super sweet card to send to a friend.

I made a quick video to show you how to put it all together.

I would love this set even if it just had this little stamp block image that says 'made with love'! how sweet is that? I embossed it on the back of my card and I think this stamp will just sit on my desk permanently to go on the back so all my cards! Love it!!
If you would like to trace my paper doll you can print out the template here.
