Enjoy Life!

I thought I would share what has been keeping me busy this week. The other room moms and I are putting together an end of the year party for the 5th graders.  Since it is their last year at the school and they will be moving on to Middle School, the school lets the 5th graders have a big party at a nearby park with fun and games and ice cream. We also put together a little summer themed gift bag for each of the kids, 78 in all,
I was in charge of decorating the bags.  One of the items in the bag is a bike lock so they can ride around town and meet up with friends, and keep the bikes from getting taken. I thought of this new stamp set called Enjoy Life because of the bike image, but it is a great stamp set for a whole bunch of reasons and I know I will get a lot of use out of it.  The set was designed with one of last years Million Dollar Sales Achievers, Connie Fitzgerald. She designed it with her children in mind. The sentiments are great words to live by and the images are amazing.  You can do a lot of fun techniques with the silhouette images in this set.  It will be available starting June 1st when the catalog goes live at noon (MT).

I stamped the image in Black Stazon ink, then used an Aqua Painter to apply the ink, Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point.  The papers I used here are old retired papers. Since I had to make 78 (I rounded up to 80 to be safe),  I used lunch bags, but I think they look sweet all dresses up and lunch bags remind the kids of school anyway, so it was a win win!

Number of Years stamp set and Large Number dies

Today I had a customer contact me about the Number of Years stamp set and matching Large Letter framelit dies.  Did you know they are retiring?  I did, but I wanted to point them out because they are truly fantastic and perfect for both scrapbooking and card making! I am so glad she reminded me about them so I could remind you about them!   They pair perfectly with the Large Letter frameltis, and make fun eclipse technique cards for birthdays and Graduations too!  They are currently on a "While supplies last" status, so don't delay, get them while you can.

My favorite stamp in the set is the "again" as in look who's turning 29 "again"!  Too funny.  I can't pull off the 29 again but maybe I can turn 39 again a few more times?
I found a few older projects that I made with them.  I know I made many more, but I don't think I still have photos.

Hurry before they are gone. and check out the rest of the great retiring products!

Serene Garden sneak peek

Hi everyone! Today I am making a card for a swap that I am in, and we are to use all new stamp sets.  Although this stamp set is not available yet to you, I thought I would share it anyway because the new catalog begins in just two weeks!
I am using two new stamp sets on this card.  The main images are from the Serene Garden stamp set.  This is a beautiful line art stamp set, great for many coloring techniques, such as water coloring like I have done here. I am also using the new
Itty Bitty Greetings, which replaces the old Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  There are 32 stamps in the set, something for every occasion, so you are going to want to add this one to your wish list. I needed a Sympathy card, so that is what I went with.  I stamped onto Pool Party cardstock and flagged the end.  A little scrap of ribbon and linen thread make an adorable accent.
I love to watercolor, so I used my aqua Painters and Pool Party, Calypso Coral, and Old Olive inks. These images would be great with the Stampin' Blends as well.

The dies that coordinate with this set are really fun.  They cut out the usual, the bird, the flowers, but there is also a die that cuts out just select leaves, and one that embosses the same image too.   On my card I used the die that selectively cuts out leaves, and I out the card together in such a way that it has three layers, a bottom  layer with the recessed leaves, then the main layer, then some popped up flowers and the bird. It gives the card a fun paper pieced look and so much dimension.
I created a video that shows just how to put this card all together and probably better shows the leaf dies.  I hope you enjoy it!  Feel free to ask me any questions there, I am good at responding :)
Serene Garden will be available beginning June 1st!  How did I get mine early? I am a demonstrator, we get all sorts of perks, discounts and pre-buys.  Click my join button to learn more!
Don't forget to check out the Last Chance products before they are gone forever!

Tabs for Everything

Hi Everyone! Today I would like to share some fun cards that use the "Tabs for Everything" stamp set.  This stamp set really is for everything. It has so many sayings and images, perfect for a variety of events and great for both cards and scrapbook pages!

Purchase by May 31st to get the bundle, stamp set and paper punch, 10% off!

I like to use the punch for my Stampin' Sponges too!  They are perfect to make a place to hold onto so your fingers don't get inky. And I use the matching color paper for the tab, so I know that I am using the correct sponge for the correct color.

I made a video that shows you how to put this card together.
