Last day for 10 Free Ink Pads when you join

Hi everyone! Today is the last day to join my team and get 10 FREE ink pads!
The starter kit is already a great deal ($99 for any $125 worth of ANY current products) and there is no obligation for further purchases.  That's right, no obligation for further purchases.  You can buy just the starter kit, get the 10 FREE ink pads, and never buy another thing.  You don't even have to remember to 'Cancel' or do anything,  Just never buy anything.  Now of course I hope that you will stay, I hope that you will like the products and the friendships, the sharing of ideas and the creativity.  The sense of accomplishments and pride in your creations and in seeing the happy faces of people who receive your work.  But I know that sometimes you jump into things, truly thinking that you will do more, but then time and life can get in the way and I get that.  When I joined almost 15 years ago I had small children, so I just bought here and there for just myself, and I liked the discount I got by being a demonstrator. I did the minimum to stay active, and I was my only customer.  Then my sister asked me to put together a scrapbook group for herself and a few fiends that liked my scrapbook pages, so I did that for a bit and was happy to not be my only customer, but I still just did that once a month.  Then as my kids got older I added some things, a card class here and there, special events for women's groups, things like that.  Now I have a blog and a video channel, customers from all over and a great team.  Being a demonstrator can be what ever you want it to be. Just you, getting great deals on your stamping supplies through your discount, or a bit of fun with a few friends once and a while by getting together for a craft night, or making a bit or a bunch of extra income by hosting classes and clubs and  more.  It is all up to you.
Watch my video for more info, or click the Join my team tab under the blog header to get started picking out your custom starter kit, any $125 for just $99 with FREE SHIPPING on the kit and ten extra ink pads thrown in on top of that already great deal.  That's an additional $67.50 in free stuff!
Contact me with any questions, but remember, the deal ends today!!

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Today I am participating in the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop!  Scrapbooking Global is a Facebook site started by Stampin' Up! demonstrators, but available to all scrapbook enthusiasts demonstrator or not, who want to get inspiration on creating pages using Stampin' Up! products.  We have so many great members who love to share their ideas.  We hope that you find some inspiration on our hop this month and will join us at our Facebook page.

The theme for this months hop is a sketch! This is a great layout for so many occasions.

Here is my take on the sketch! I love his picture of Jillian riding a horse for the first time. She just loved it, and the horse.  She choose the same horse every time we went riding, running to him before anyone else could choose him.

My title was made with the Large Letter Framelits dies, a must have in my opinion.
I added a subtitle with the 'Make a Difference' alphabet and more stamp set.

I added journaling with the aid of lines created with a stamp from 'Swirly Frames'.  I love handwritten journaling, but sometimes I need a little help or things start to go wonky.
I used an Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker for my journaling. I am happy to have markers to match all my Stampin' Up! colors!

To line up my stamped lines, I placed my cardstock onto grid paper and stamped a line ever other line on the grid paper.

I used the Country Road stamp set for all my fun elements, such as the copper and black embossed stars and the top, the reeds of grasses behind the title, and the wagon wheel at the bottom. This was the perfect set for my page.

I also used made a rope of Copper Ribbon with the 1/4 in Copper Trim.  This trim is made of tiny copper wires that you can twist and bend and pull apart for really nice effects.

Southern Serenade with an 'accent' from Accented Blooms

Hi everyone.  Today I am sharing a card that I made with the little punch out from the Accented Blooms stamp set. The main image is from Southern Serenade, I just love that set, but the background was created with a little stamp that was laying on my desk from a card that I had made the day before.

See that little punch out stamp?  Stampin' Up! does this when there is a large area that is to be punched out, so that we don't accidentally get ink where we don't want it.  I was looking at that little punch out and thought it would make an interesting background.  What do you think?  I stamped in Crushed curry, sometimes full strength, sometimes with out re-inking the stamp, for a lighter tone.

I colored in the main image with my favorite tool, the Aqua Painter.  I added Crushed Curry to the blossoms, Old Olive to the leaves and a lit of Crumb Cake
shadow to the right of the flower.

Going on now!
