Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Today I am participating in the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop!  Scrapbooking Global is a Facebook site started by Stampin' Up! demonstrators, but available to all scrapbook enthusiasts demonstrator or not, who want to get inspiration on creating pages using Stampin' Up! products.  We have so many great members who love to share their ideas.  We hope that you find some inspiration on our hop this month and will join us at our Facebook page.

The theme for this months hop is a sketch! This is a great layout for so many occasions.

Here is my take on the sketch! I love his picture of Jillian riding a horse for the first time. She just loved it, and the horse.  She choose the same horse every time we went riding, running to him before anyone else could choose him.

My title was made with the Large Letter Framelits dies, a must have in my opinion.
I added a subtitle with the 'Make a Difference' alphabet and more stamp set.

I added journaling with the aid of lines created with a stamp from 'Swirly Frames'.  I love handwritten journaling, but sometimes I need a little help or things start to go wonky.
I used an Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker for my journaling. I am happy to have markers to match all my Stampin' Up! colors!

To line up my stamped lines, I placed my cardstock onto grid paper and stamped a line ever other line on the grid paper.

I used the Country Road stamp set for all my fun elements, such as the copper and black embossed stars and the top, the reeds of grasses behind the title, and the wagon wheel at the bottom. This was the perfect set for my page.

I also used made a rope of Copper Ribbon with the 1/4 in Copper Trim.  This trim is made of tiny copper wires that you can twist and bend and pull apart for really nice effects.
