Harvest Hellos

Hi Everyone.  It has been a couple weeks since I posted.  I had a nasty cold that I just couldn't shake.  I slept a lot and didn't get much chance to stamp.  I was so happy to spend yesterday in my craft room. I made a lot of new cards and even a new video, which I will add to this post later today.   I wanted to share a collection of projects made with the Harvest Hellos stamp set.  This is a new stamp set from the Holiday catalog and I really like it.   The set is very versatile and has a matching paper punch that cuts out both the apple image and the pumpkin image.

This set is also great for a variety of coloring techniques.   Here I used Aqua Painters to color in the images.  This is one of my favorite coloring techniques.  My video on this collection shows how easy it is to color the stamps and get these beautiful results.

For the scrapbook page and matching card, I stamped directly onto colored cardstock, no coloring required.

The half apple can also be cut out with the paper punch.

For this Get Well Card, I used the inside cut of of the apple stamp to color in the image.  You can see this technique in my video.

I think I will get the most use out of the pumpkin. It is so great for both Thanksgiving and Halloween because Stampin' Up! added this super cute Jack-o-Lantern face that you can add to the pumpkin. How fun is that.  Check back later in the week for a how to video for this candy holder.
This treat holder is made with the new Mini Curvy Keepsakes box.  I just love this little box and the Jack-o-Lantern face from Harvest Hellos fits the box perfectly! How adorable!!
