More Than Autumn Hot Cider Pull-Up Pouch

I love making these fun Pull-Up Pouches.  They are so simple yet are fun to make and to receive.  I make a version of these every year for Hot Chocolate or Cider or Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

This year I used the More Than Autumn stamps and dies!

The color I used here are Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie, Old Olive. Cherry Cobbler.

I stamped the images in Memento Black and colored them with  my Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers.

The Designer Series Paper is called Iconic Celebrations.

I love the coffee cup stamp and all the images Stampin' Up! added to the set to customize the drinks, Whipped Cream, Marshmallows, that tiny yet adorable cinnamon stick.  I just love it!

Notice the fun Donuts and gingerbread man! so cute!

Here is a video how to for this project.

New Watercolor kit from Stampin' Up!

Take a look at the new Nature's Paintings Kit! I just love this kit.  If you are a follower of my blog or Facebook page, you know that I love all things Watercolor.  We were given a sneak peek of this kit back in early October and I have been eagerly awaiting it's release ever since.

This kit is a Watercolor Coloring Book.  The images are printed on Watercolor paper so you can color the images with the INCLUDED Watercolor pencils!  You also get a Water Painter!  There are 24 pages, 2 each of 12 designs.  Once you have colored the images, you can take them out of the book and frame them or add them to a card base and make a card.

Now let's talk about those Watercolor Pencils.  I love the Watercolor Pencils from Stampin' Up! and you can purchase them separately in two different sets.  This kit will allow you to play around with them and see if perhaps you want to get another set.  Some of the colors in the kit are in Assortment 1 and some Assortment II so if you were to purchase more, you would get some duplicates, but they are not very expensive and the don't dry out or go bad and you will use them eventually.  The kit does contain a NEW color to the pencil line up, Berry Burst.  Berry Burst is not in either assortment, so I am happy to get that!

The kit includes Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana, Pumpkin Pie, Flirty Flamingo, Berry Burst, Early Espresso and Garden Green.

I love love love this kit! When mine comes in, I will make a video about it and show some techniques with the pencils,

If you would like to see some videos about the pencils that I have made in the past, here is a good one.

More Than Autumn bundle!

I just love this new bundle from Stampin' Up!  I am first in line for Pumpkin Spice! and who doesn't love a hot cocoa on a cold winter day?  And any time I see a coffee cup in a stamp set, it goes right into my shopping cart!!  Just look at all the fun elements! candy canes, gingerbread man, donuts!!

I love the mix and max of all the sentiments too! "Love you more than..." and "You had me at..." are my favorites.

At my last Card Buffet I offered a pumpkin spice version and a hot cocoa version.  The most popular was the pumpkin spice! That surprised me, but it was late October so maybe that's why.  If I had offered them in late November or December I bet the hot cocoa version would have taken the lead.

This card also uses the Leaf Fall embossing folder. I sponged on top of the embossed areas to make the leaves stand out even more.

The cups are stamped on Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper. The leaves are Pumpkin Pie (of course), Crushed Curry and Copper Clay.

The Hot Cocoa version is on a Poppy Parade base with a strip of Poppy Parade Designer paper from the 6x6 Brights Pack.

I stamped the coffee cups on a scrap of patterned paper in Garden Green. I colored the candy canes and gingerbread man with markers.

Here is the catalog sample! So fun.  I love the details of the cinnamon stick, the little pumpkin, donuts! All the favorites of fall.

This next catalog sample uses the cocoa words. This card is a shaker with little gingerbread men and candy canes floating around. Really fun!!

Sophisticated Sled

I just love the Sophisticated Sled bundle that was released in the Online Exclusives.  Those skates are darling and they remind me of skating when I was young.  My father used to make an ice rink in our backyard every winter. My sister and I would swing high on our swings and jump off and try to skate like Dorothy Hamill across the yard and see who got the farthest on one glide.  So fun! and amazingly we did not break our legs!

You can stamp a sled and skates and cut them out, or use the detailed dies to make a sled and skates out of dies and cardstock. I love the versatility! The sample shared in the online store was lovely and so I made mine like it. The only thing I changed was the gems (I am out of the ones they used) and I also made the card base with Lost Lagoon.  Below are my takes on their card.

My Pretty Peacock mat is 5 by 3 3/4 inches.  The Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper is cut as follows:

2 1/4 by 2, 2 1/4 by 3 5/8, 1 5/8 by 2 and 1 5/8 by 3 5/8.

I used Crumb Cake and Early Espresso for the sled, Basic White, Basic Gray, and Real Red on the skates.

The leaves are Lost Lagoon and I used a Real Red Stampin Blends Marker to color pearls for the berries.
