Big Crafty Garage Sale this Saturday. If you are in the Western Burbs of Chicago, come on over to my retired products sale! I have been busy pricing all week and have lots of stamps, dies, embossing folders, papers and so much more!
If you can't make it in person, check back here next week. When the in-person sale is over, I will refresh my Garage sale tab here with new items and markdowns.
The new Notes and Totes bundle makes the cutest little tote bags! In my samples I used them to create a cute Gift Card Holder card and a 3D Tote bag to hold a gift card or chocolate or a number of other little treats! So fun!
Here is a video how to for these projects.
The dies are so fun. I love the parts to make a fence! You can use the fence to create a cute beach scene with the bag hanging from the fence, add some of the shells, and a water bottle. There is also a sunscreen tube, lotion for a spa day, cute scarf, and sunglasses. Use the various trim to make different bags and add a pocket if you like. So many options. Here are some samples from the catalog.
Hi Stampy Friends! Today I am showing another Side Step Card. I made this last month for a Stampin' Up! event I went to. Whenever Stampin' Up! has an event, we always have swapping! This was my swap. I almost didn't show it because it is the same template that I used on a card I posted a few weeks ago. I found a couple unfinished card pieces when cleaning my desk, so I thought I would put them together, and since I was doing that, I might as well film it and post it! It's an easy fun fold that really looks great.
This stamp set is the new Sunrise Sailing set. There are dies and an embossing folder! I love this set for summer, it will be great on some scrapbook pages of the lake in Door County, my families favorite vacation spot.
As of today, the bundle is on back-order :( but it is scheduled to be back in stock very soon, May 28th if all goes well.
Here are the dimensions for my version of the Side Step Card.
The card base is a traditional 5 1/2 by 8 1/2. I cut a slit in the center 2 3/4, starting at 1 inch from the bottom and going up to the 5 1/4 inch mark.
From the right side, score from the center slit at 1 inch, 2 inch and 5 1/4 inch. From the left side of the slit score at 4 1/4 inch. Fold and use a bone folder to get it flat. I find it easier to guide the folds how I want them by putting my left hand through the slit and then folding each side . See this in my video below.
Here are a few more examples of this stamp set from the Online store.

This is a repeat post but I noticed that the video was getting some views on YouTube and so I thought I would post it again since Graduations are happening all around the US this month!
I made these cards when my oldest son was graduating from College last year and we had quite a few other family and friends graduating as well.
These are easy to customize with different color tassels or caps to go with the various school colors that the grads may have.
This one holds a gift card! Perfect for adding a check or cash too.
Video for this card can be found on my YouTube Channel.
