Hurry, offer ends soon!!

Now is an Awesome Time to join Stampin' Up!  Right now pay just $99 for $155 worth of products of YOUR CHOICE!! We all have wish lists that can be quite long, and here is a way to get a lot for less!  Stampin' Up! throws in a Free Past Paper Pumpkin kit too, just to show you what they are.  And you will get a $10 coupon to use towards your first order.  You will enjoy a starting discount of 20% off, and that can grow to higher discounts as you go forward.  There are other perks too! Quarterly Stampin' Success magazine with beautiful projects and articles about products and the business, many resources on the exclusive Demonstrator Website, an online community of other demos sharing ideas and tips, sneak peeks on upcoming products, and early purchase of products. Of course the discount is what we love the most.
Here are some common questions:

Q. What if I want to do this as a hobby and not necessarily a business?
A. Stampin’ Up! supports all demonstrators, no matter their goals or the level at which they choose to run their business. If you choose not to hold workshops, you can simply place your own orders and/or collect orders from family and friends to equal the quarterly sales minimum.

Q. Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?
A. No. If you were to recruit demonstrators, you would be paid team commissions on your team’s sales, but this is a perk, not a requirement.

Q. Is Stampin’ Up! a well-known, respected company?
A. Since 1988, Stampin’ Up! has been selling stamps and papercrafting supplies. In that time, not only have we won industry awards and accolades, but also the loyalty and admiration of demonstrators and customers alike. And that is a trend that we work hard to maintain. You can rest assured that the reputation of Stampin’ Up! will only continue to improve!

Q. What if I decide that I don’t like it once I’ve started? Will I be penalized if I quit?

A. You may choose to stop at anytime, and you will not be penalized. You simply stop placing orders. However, there are many benefits to remaining an active demonstrator. If you have any questions about Stampin’ Up! or becoming a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, please contact your demonstrator.

Q. What are the minimum sales requirements?
A. You only need to submit 300 CSV (Commissionable Sales Volume) in sales per quarter. That is less than an average Stampin’ Up! workshop! Also, you can submit your sales in any increment you wish and still receive your 20 percent discount and commission (or 25 percent if you become a bronze elite title or above).

There may be other questions that you have, and I will be happy to answer them.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.  bethrush@issinternet.com

"Under the Sea" party Favors

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing some party favors that I am making for my mom.  She goes to a water aerobics class and it is about to be over for the season.  They celebrate the year with a big luncheon.
This year my mom is in charge of the decorations and favors.  She asked me to come up with an idea and then we will get together to make them. This is what I came up with.  I am hoping the circles look like scales on a mermaid tail :)

I used the  1 inch circle punch to create the scales.  I also made sure to use up a lot of the smaller scraps of cardstock that I have been collecting. I choose various shades of color and never had to cut a new sheet of cardstock! I love it when I can use up my scraps, and that made the project less expensive.  I used the Ticket Tear Border punch for the band around the bag. It helped give a nice clean look to the scales. The Ticket border punch is on the Clearance rack right now.
I also threw in a shinny scale every now and then just for fun. It made me think of the Rainbow Fish book! Do you know that one? I think I have it memorized, my son asked for that one a lot!

The bags are a nice size, not too big that it takes a lot to fill them, but not too small that you don't have options.  I made sure that they could be filled with either candy or something bigger like some lotions or things like that.

I made a how to video for this project. You can see it here:

Back to School Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Today I am participating in the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop! And, I am the Guest Designer this month, which means I got to choose the theme! FUN!  For me, August is all about Back To School, so naturally that is what I choose.  My children all went back to school just yesterday, so I don't have any of this years Back To School photos printed yet, but I am way behind in my scrapbooking, so I had plenty of photos to choose from.  I wanted to use some of my new Holiday Catalog Pre-Order goodies, you know how it is when you get new clothes or new toys, you want to use them right away.  The papers I used for my page are from the new Come to Gather Designer Series paper.  I loved the plaid and thought it worked nicely with the colors in my son's fourth grade  school picture.  The wood planks paper at the bottom is also from this pack.

After placing my photo and my title, I realized I left too much space at the top of the page, and so I tried to think of a fun accent to add.  I decided to use some strips of paper from my scraps that matched the stripes in the plaid.  The little strips were a nice place to add some journaling too.

The apples are a new Sneak Peek too! This is a new punch and stamp set called Harvest Hellos.   I love that the set and punch are both an apple or a pumpkin! How great is that? The ribbon is new too!  All of these products will be in the new Holiday catalog that comes out for customers on September 4th! Be sure to keep your eye out for that.

I hope that you enjoyed my page and that you have some Back To School inspiration.  Be sure to follow along on the hop and check out what everyone else has made!  Next up is Sherry Roth at Stamped Treasures!

Lots of Cheer Stamp Camp To Go

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a Stamp Camp To Go!
This Stamp Camp To Go features the Lots of Cheer stamp set from the annual catalog.  I was drawn to this set because I have been getting excited about the new Holiday catalog that is coming our way, and I wanted to make something Christmas that you can get right now. The images in the Lots of Cheer stamp set are great for coloring, so this Stamp Camp To Go will focus on Stampin' Blends.
If you are new to my Stamp Camp To Go projects, here is how they work.  I will send you a PDF of the projects FREE with the purchase of the Lots of Cheer stamp set.  You would order the stamp set right from Stampin' Up! using my host code QGEXJWGJ
You can  also get a PDF of the projects for $5 without purchase.  This is great if you already own this stamp set, or if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and what to buy the set from yourself.
You can also purchase a Card Kit Add-On pack for $10. The card kit pack contains all the paper and ribbon pieces you need to create the 5 cards. You would use your own stamps, ink and adhesives.
The Card Kit Add-On pack is FREE when your purchase including the Lots of Cheer stamp set reaches $50.  Purchase the stamp set and add a few things like some colors of Stampin' Blends you might have or some more paper or stamps, and when your order reaches $50 you would get the PDF and the Card Kit Add-On FREE when you use host code QGEXJWGJ
If you are not familiar with how host codes work, please feel free to email me and I will walk you through it.  If your order reaches $150, DO NOT use the host code because Stampin' Up! gives you Free Stampin' Rewards on orders of $150 or more and I don't want you to miss out on those.  I will still send you the PDF and Card Kit pack, just send me an email at bethrush@issinternet.com.   Here is a short video on the Stamp Camp To Go.

Votive Holder from The Botanical Tags dies

Hi Everyone! A few months ago I made a video showing a variety of ways to use the dies from the Botanical Tags die collection.  In the video I showed a few cards and also a votive holder.  I have gotten a lot of questions on how I made the votive holder and rather than continue to answer with a written explanation each time, I decided to make a video specifically showing this project step by step.

I hope you will check out the video, it is such a simple little votive holder and you can customize it with different colors and stamps.
Here are some of the other projects I showed in the original post.

And here is a link to the original video that shows these other projects and a step by step for the cards.
