Dancing Gnomes!

I made this fun Candy Corn looking Gnome based on a card I got in a swap with my demo friend Pam.  I thought her card was super cute and I knew I wanted to make more.  Then I was with another Demo named Cathy and she was showing me a fun card made with the Witches hat punch and Bewitching stamps. The card had the witch feet shaking back and forth under that hat.  She said she thought it would be cute with the Gnomes too, cut didn't have the gnome bundle. I did, so I had to try it and I combined the cards from both Pam and Cathy to get this fun little card.  The little feet swing back and forth when you jiggle the card.

I used Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Basic White Cardstock to mimic a Candy Corn. The Happy Halloween stamp is from a Paper Pumpkin kit. Paper Pumpkin kit stamps are great to keep for sentiments.

Of course I had to make a Christmas version too.

This time I used Night of Navy for the base. The cute snowy paper is from the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper.

I made a quick how to for both of these cards at my YouTube Channel.

Since I had the Storybook Gnomes paper out on my desk I decided to try to make a version only using the designer paper.  The feet move on this card too!

Cottage Wreaths Bundle

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a cards straight out of the pages of the July to December mini catalog. I thought it looked like a fun card so I just had to make one for myself.

See how to video with measurements here:

The Red Glimmer Paper and Red Basic Jewels add a nice sparkle to the card. It really is a simple one to make, but it looks fantastic in real life.

Design a Treat bundle

I love this little treat box maker bundle from Stampin' Up! Creating the different characters was really easy and super fun.  I used them at everyone's place for Stamp Camp this past Saturday and they were a hit. I meant to take photos of them individually but then I forgot and now I only have a bat left :)  oops! I was focused on getting ready for Stamp Camp I guess.  I did make a video as I put the second set together.

The catalog also shows this set as a bunny and I think there are so many other ways to use it as well. The possibilities are endless.

The die set comes with the main treat box die as well as some fun add ons to make your characters. I also really like the number dies. I can see those being used on many things, such as balloons with the birthday card receiver's age.

Painted Pheasant stamp set

Hi everyone! Today I am working with the Painted Pheasant stamp set.  I keep wanting to call it the Pleasant Pheasant! Did we used to sell one called that?

I really like the painted look of this stamp set. I used multiple colors of markers to ink up the pheasant, then lightly spritzed it with water to before stamping the image onto Shimmery White cardstock.

The marker colors I used are Cajun Craze, Shaded Spruce, Soft Suede, and Early Espresso markers.

For the background I stamped random leaved with Crumb Cake ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock.  The strip of Cajun Craze patterned paper is from the He's the Man Designer Series Paper.

To make the pheasant stand out, I cut the panel out with Deckled Rectangle dies, leaving the tail feathers out.  I had to use the partial cut technique to do this.  Watch my how to video here:
