Simple Fold treat holder - Customizable for any occassion

 

 

 

 

This super simple folded paper strip is so great for dressing up small treats for any occasion.  You can change up the papers or decorations to fit your needs.  I start with a strip of 12 x 3 designer series paper.  Score at 4, 5, and 9 inches.  The end of the strip with the 9 inch score will become the flap. You can add some rounded corners or die cuts to make the flap more decorative.  I used the Scallop Blossoms dies to make my flap more fancy.  The Scallop Blossoms die is a circle, so I had to do a partial cut to make the flap.

 The paper I am using is called Homemade Sweetness. It features all sorts of jams and this adorable Honey Bear. I found some Honey themed candy to go inside. Bit O Honey

The Label is from the Filled with Sweetness dies.  

Here is a side view so you can see how simple this is. The candy is in a cello bag, which is taped down to the folded paper.  You can fill a bag with just about anything and make this fit your theme.
