Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today is the last day of Sale-a-Bration so I wanted to be sure to show this card before it is over, since I am using the fun Sunshine and Rainbows paper, free with a $50 purchase during February.  The patterns in this paper are so bright and cheery.  I plan to use this paper on a few Scrapbook pages as well.

You can change out the patterned paper if you are seeing this in March.

I am using the 'Flowers and Leaves' punch as four leaf clovers, stamped and punched in Granny Apple Green.

The tag is called the 'Essentials Tag Punch'.  I punched the tag out from Misty Moonlight cardstock.

I used the new Happy And Heartfelt stamp set for the sentiment on the front of the card.  I love the font used.

The sentiment on the inside is from the 'A Wish for Everything' stamp set.

Daffodil Daydream

Today I wanted to show the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper before it retires at the end of the month.  The paper is FREE with a $50 purchase this month!

The Daffodil Afternoon paper pairs perfectly with the Daffodil Daydreams stamps and dies, which are $54.75, so that would be the perfect choice to purchase and get the Daffodil Afternoon paper FREE!

I colored the stamped image to match the paper with Pale Papaya and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends, and a Pear Pizzazz marker.

I used the Scalloped Rectangle and Stitched label dies from the Stitched So Sweetly die collection to finish off the card.

See how to video with some tips and tricks for this card here:

I was a little worried about running out of Pale Papaya cardstock and I needed it for my team swap card, so I implemented a little cardstock saving trick that I use from time to time.

I stamped my sentiment on one of the layering pieces where the cut out will be hidden on the finished card.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the labels from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

I covered the cut out area with the Very Vanilla Layer.

Here is what it looks like from the back.

And here is the front!

This could easily be changed to a Happy Mother's Day, Thank You or Birthday card.

Hello Bumblebee!

I'm flipping the script on the Hello Ladybug bundle and making it a Hello Bumblebee bundle!  Making the bee is so simple with either strips of yellow and black paper, drawing stripes with markers or as I did here with some Black and White striped paper that I colored with my Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.

The striped paper is from the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack. I also used this paper for the leaves, which I punched out with the wings from the Ladybug Builder punch. I cut out a body in Basic Black, and then cut another with the striped paper, minus the head.  I punched out wings from Vellum and added a touch of sparkle with a Wink Of Stella pen.

To make the background I stamped the flower in full strength Daffodil Delight and also lighter versions by first stamping the ink off on scrap paper before stamping again on my project. I added centers to my flowers with Soft Suede.

On the second Bee Card I really wanted white daisies so I used White Craft ink on Night of Navy paper.  If you wanted the petals very white, you could also emboss them with White Embossing Powder. I sort of liked the translucent look, so I left them as is.

I have a video for these cards on my YouTube Channel here:
