scrapbooking global November Blog Hop

Hi Everyone! Today I am joining in on the Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop.  We are celebrating Winter Textures this month!  I right away thought to use the new Snowflake Showcase suite.  This is a limited time only collection of products and the dies in this collection are AMAZING!

I used the Large Letter Framelits to make the title.  I sponged the tops of the letters and added some of the tiny snowflakes from the Snow is Glistening stamp sets to make them look snowed on.
I cut a bunch of the snowflakes with the Snowfall Thinlit dies and sponged the tips with Pool Party ink.

I printed out my journaling onto Whisper White cardstock and cut it out.  To make a decorative edge I used one of the larger snowflakes.

In order to not cut the whole snowflake, but only half on the edge, I simply put the top cutting plate only half way on the snowflake and ran it through the big shot.

Please head on over to the next blog on our hop! I know you will find some Winter inspiration!

Back from Convention!!

Hi Everyone! I am back from Orlando!  It was hard to come home because I was having so much fun and also because my son texted me a photo of the snow that had fallen while I was gone!
Here is a photo of me with just a few thousand of my friends.  It was seriously a great time!

I thought I would share some photos of new products headed your way this January.

And, starting in January the cling mount stamps have been redesigned to stick like crazy to the blocks! Check out this video:

I was able to place a pre-order for a selection of products from the new Occasions catalog and Sale-a-Bration catalog.  I will share those products with you over the next few weeks, mixed in with some winter and Christmas of course.

Corn Husk Treats

Hi everyone!  I am away the rest of the week to attend the Stampin' Up! OnStage event in Orlando Florida.  I thought I would leave you with a few oldie but goodie projects, just in time for Thanksgiving!

These little corn husk treats are super cute for a coworker, teacher gift, or to add at each place setting on your Thanksgiving table.  They are easy to make as well.  I first made these about 5 years ago and I continue to make them every other year or so.  The stamps shown have been discontinued, but there are some great stamps that you could use as a substitute.

I love this set because it has stamps for many occasions.  It is called Labels to Love.  The Give Thanks would be a perfect tag for these treats.

The sunflowers or the bushel of pumpkins would be great as a tag, as would the Many Blessings stamp, which happens to be the name of this set.

Here is a video how to for these treat holders.

Candy Cane Pillow Boxes

Hi Everyone! Today I am making some gifts for a few of my friends who are joining me at OnStage this weekend.  OnStage is Stampin' Up!'s twice yearly convention and this time it is their 30th birthday celebration! I can't wait. I leave bright and early tomorrow.  Check my Facebook page for updates and photos of the fun and sneak peeks of new products coming in January.

The Pillow Boxes come in a pack of ten for just $5.00,  so with just a bit of added paper scraps you can get these finished projects for about $0.75 each!  Add a gift card and some chocolates and you have a great teacher gift, something for a coworker, or anyone on your Christmas list.

I made a quick video that really highlights these products, and a few others.  Check it out.

I love the Candy Cane Season bundle.  Any time there is a punch with a stamp set I just have to get it.  This is a cute set and I really like that bow! So glad they added that to the punch.

Here are some samples from the catalog. I just love the coordination between the Candy Cane Season bundle and the Santa's Workshop suite.

Here is a bit more of the Santa's Workshop suite. So Cute!!
I feel like that the paper is just so adorable! It may sell out, we are at that time of the Holiday catalog where things start to sell out for the year, so don't delay.
