Last day for 20% off the Mini Die Cut and Emboss Machine

Today is the last day to save 20% off on the mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine.  This machine is mini but mighty!  I love it's size as it fits right on my desk and doesn't take up a lot of space.

The machine comes with everything you need to get cutting and embossing with a base plate and cutting and embossing plates included.

Several stamp and die sets are also on sale with this promotion AND the retiring catalog promotion, so you can choose from a lot of great bundles to get you on your creative way.

The bundles in the promotion are all really great. That goldfish is amazing. I've used the All squared away bundle a lot, as well as the trees! The window is fun for an interactive card and I use the What's cooking bundle for tags when I have given some home made treats at Christmas.  My favorites from the list below are Celebrate Sunflowers and Quite Meadow, I LOVE these!

Pop-Up Gift Bag card

This Pop-Up Gift Bag card is so fun and super easy to make.  I am using some products that are about to retire, so if you are seeing this and they are no longer available, no worries, you can switch up with any papers and stamps you have.

The papers I used are from the Pattern Party Designer Series paper pack, a free reward choice when you spend $150 (while supplies last).

The flower dies are really fun and so nice to use to embellish just about anything. Use them on cards, scrapbook pages and to dress up gift boxes or frames, anything!  The dies are called Pierced Petals and they are on sale while supplies last.  They were $37 but right now they are on sale for $18.50!

The Stamp set is Happiest Birthday Wishes. I really like this one and I am sad that they are retiring it. I will keep mine to use, but if you like it too, you may want to get it while you can.

I used sponge daubers to add ink to the stamp in Flirty Flamingo, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green and Misty Moonlight.

This card is super easy to make! I hope you will give it a try. If you do, I would love to see it! Join my Beth's Paper Cuts Idea Sharing Group on Facebook and join in the creativity and discussions, and share what you are making.

Annual Catalog Retirement List

Last-Chance Products

Ready or not it's Retirement Time! Stampin' Up! has just released the list of retiring products and some items are on sale. Now is the time to get those items on your wish list ordered before they are long gone. I highlighted a few of the products below that I adore and are on sale now.

Here are my Top 3 Tips for the Retirement List:

  1. In Colors: All 2020-2022 In Color inks, paper, and embellishments are retiring. These items usually sell out quickly so don't forget to add ink refills and extra cardstock to your craft stash. You don't want to miss having these gorgeous colors in your collection!

  2. Bundles: Bundles, with their 10% savings, all retire! Even if the bundle items carryover to the next catalog the discount does not - so if you have your eye on a bundle, get it now and save!

  3. Stamps vs. Accessories: Retiring stamps are available through 2 May 2022. All other retiring items, such as paper, embellishments, and dies are only available while supplies last, so you don't want to wait and miss out.

As always, feel free to contact me at any time! I love to discuss all things stampy!
Sincerely,
Beth

More Waves of Inspiration

I promise I will use another stamp set soon!  I just can't help making a few more cards with this bundle of products.  I love the dies, (that additional layer to the clouds is just so fabulous!) and the papers! So Much!

This first card is a copy from the flyer put out by Stampin' Up!

I like to make the catalog or flyer samples because it really helps me dive into a set and get going using it.  This card was fun because it has that sentiment stamped over and over in the background, which I think gives a really unique look.  I also liked how they snipped the label die a little do give it another look.

That first card was a jumping off point for this second card.  I used the same wave design, and coral sky, but I added some fun clouds in Petal Pink and Night of Navy.

I left the label die as is this time and tied on some denim ribbon.

These cards are full of drama and very pretty. Love them!

See how to for these cards in my video below!

Parts of this collection are LIMITED TIME!  Get them while you can. The papers, both the blue foils and Waves of the Ocean, as well as the blue hued rhinestones, are here while they last.  The stamps and dies will be in the next annual catalog that comes out in May this year.  I am looking forward to the samples that they will make in the new catalog.

Make a Sunburst Background

I loved the sample that Stampin' Up! made for the Flyer for the Waves of the Ocean collection.  The papers and dies for this collection are just so lovely.  I wanted to recreate all the cards they showed using it.  Years ago Stampin' Up! had a die that cut out a sunburst background. I no longer had the die, so I needed to hand cut my sunburst. I gave it a try and it was easier than I thought.

I started by finding the center of my paper. Then I used a ruler to draw lines diagonally across the paper going around the whole piece.

Next I cut out every other section, almost to the center but not quite so that every other sections stays in tact.  Save the sections that you cut off though, because you can reassemble them to make a second card.

Add adhesive to the back side and then attach it to your card base.

Here is a full length video for this card with more tips and tricks.

The amazing papers are only available for a limited time.  They are made from photos of acrylic pour paintings. I have a video for how these papers were made on my Facebook Page:

https://www.facebook.com/bethspapercuts

The Waves of Inspiration stamps and Waves dies are an early release from the next Annual Catalog that comes out in a couple months.

I can't wait to see what those samples look like!
