Spotlight on the Forever Greenery Suite from Stampin' Up!

The Annual Catalog Inspiration

Forever Greenery Suite

When you think of leaves you may think of autumn, but the Forever Greenery Suite is here to change your mind!

This gorgeous collection of leafy images and greetings is one of my top must-have items from the new Annual Catalog. The detailed images are timeless and work with a variety of styles from rustic to modern. Use them alone for quick and simple cards or add the dies and coordinating embellishments to really create that wow effect.

These leaves won't fall behind in autumn, I'll be reaching for them to create all year-round. This shabby chic card tutorial is just one example of the colorful creations you can make with this suite! I have already made almost a dozen card varieties with this collection. You can see them at my YouTube channel, Facebook Page, Pinterest page or Blog links at the bottom of this email or under the top header. I hope that you will follow me on some of these platforms! I can easily share even more samples in those forms! I also have a Facebook Group called "Beth's Paper Cuts Idea Sharing Group" where you can see my samples and show what you are making too!! Sharing ideas is one of the many great reasons to love Stampin' Up!

Simple to Super with the Tasteful Touches stamp set

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a trio of cards using the Tasteful Touches stamp set.  I wanted to show them in a group like this so that you can see how to make a really simple version for when you need a pretty card quickly, and then a couple other ways to step it up when you have a little more time or materials on your hands.

I really like this stamp set for the imagery and the sentiments.  The sentiments are especially nice in these days of social distancing. I really like the "Just Saying Hello" or the "you are so special" to send to friends who I have not been able to meet with in a while.

I made a video on this trio that you can view here:

This is the Simple version.  I used just Stamps, ink and Paper on this, no special tools needed.  The card base is Gray Granite with a background using the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I used Pretty Peacock cardstock for the sentiment.  the flower is stamped in Memento Ink and colored with Stampin' Blends in Rococo Rose and Mango Melody.

On this second card I stepped it up a bit by adding a die cut piece behind the flower using the Stitched So Sweetly dies, a favorite of mine! I also cut the flower out and popped it up with Dimensionals, and added some Linen Thread behind.

For this third version I stepped it up even further by adding some gold foil leaves from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. I also embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder.

And one more! I added some gold Gilded Gems to this last version.  I can't decide if they are good or too much.

Hopefully this shows that you can make simple cards when you need to and then step up your design as time and product allow.

I hope that you will check out this pretty paper and the stamp set.  You can click on the images below to go right to my shop.

The Nothing's Better Than the Nothing's Better Than Bundle!

I just love this stamp set and die collection! It contains my favorite things, coffee, chocolate and Cookies!   Anytime Stampin' Up! comes out with a new set featuring coffee I just have to have it.  This bundle was on my very first order when the new Annual Catalog came out.  Last week I showed you some cards I made that used Real Coffee to paint a background, this week I would like to show a few more things that you can make with this bundle.

Wouldn't it be fun to send a friend a plate of cookies?  With everyone social distancing right now, this would be a nice gesture to say you are thinking of your friends and family.

You could send a fellow coffee lover a cards with this coffee stamp.  Let them know you are looking forward to sharing a cup of coffee with them soon.  Or, use this coffee stamp to send a Starbucks's gift card!  Even my kids would love that!  Vanilla Frappuccino and a Cake Pop is my daughter's idea of a good time!

How cute is this little box?! This is the new mini Paper Pumpkin box! So cute and a nice size for sending little treats like chocolate!

The Nothing's Better Than stamp set and Love You More Than dies are really cute and super fun to use to make up lots of different combinations of the sentiments!
Here are a few more fun cards with this collection.  These have a retro feel to them.   You can download a PDF that has the Recipes for the cards above and the two below here: PDF https://issinternet-my.sharepoint.com/:b:/p/bethrush/EbefHKDZIahBhhp1MjRwDbUBNUlRhOCQl51cWPhWP6rTiQ?e=7DcZNP

Using up some scraps!

Hi everyone! Today I want to share a card I made to use up all my Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper.  I had a lot of scraps because I had just cut a whole bunch of card kits with this paper for my "Jar of Flowers Stamp Camp To Go".  (You can see that here)
With all those scraps, I knew I need to use them up, so I created these two cards to use a large amount of scraps.  Here I paired the paper with the Medium Daisy Punch and a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.  The card base is Cinnamon Cider and the Ribbon is Just Jade.

You can see the how to video here:

The Flowers for Every Season Designer Series paper is super cute and all the patterns work so nicely together that it was simple to make up some cute projects with these scraps.  These smaller scraps were left over when I trimmed the ends off of the first card.
We have been talking about scraps in my Facebook Group, "Beth's Paper Cuts Idea Sharing Group." We've been sharing ways to organize scraps and how to use them up. I hope that you join us there.  You can share your projects or just take a look at what other's are doing.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/bethspapercuts/

Watercolor Sunset

Hi Everyone. Today I want to share a pretty and simple card using the new Field of Flowers stamp set.
I used the new Water Painters to make the background and I added some small dots of Wink of Stella to give the idea of fireflies.
The colors used here are Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point.
I added the Field and the Dragonflies in Black Stazon.

I really like this set for the fonts and sentiments, but on this card, I didn't really use them!   I like that you can combine the various stamps to make different sentiments.

There is a coordinating paper punch, which I think is really fun. I have used the little flowers on several cards with many stamp sets.  This is a punch you will use again and again.  The little flowers are fun to add to the field image, but are great on their own as well.

The little flowers would be nice as card confetti and also for shaker cards.

I made a video for my Sunset card. I hope you'll check it out.
