I wanted to share this video because I just love the Build a Banner kits and I think they are easy to over look because that photo just doesn't show all that you get.  Check out what comes with that kit!

Look at all those stencils!!  These stencils are just awesome for cards and scrapbooks!
* 18 pennants total
* 6 each of 3 designs: largest   pennant size 5" x 6-3/4"
* 10' thick white twisted twine
* 26 alphabet stencils
* 10 number stencils
* 5 image stencils
* 4 masking stencils
* 1 Stampin' Spritzer

I loved that kit from last year and this one is even better!  I hope to share some things I made with this kit in the coming days, so hard when the kits are home from school and we are outside everyday, but when I get to my craft room I am grabbing this kit.  One of the most pinned cards of mine on Pinterest is this one...

 The circle stencil would make this so easy.

Two, no, Three step stampin! ~ Watercolor Wings

Hello Stampers!  Today I want to share with you a fun new Stamp set called Watercolor Wings.   Are you familiar with Stampin' Up's Two- Step Stamps?  These are stamps that use two stamps layered together to make your final image.  For years they have always called these type of stamps 2-step stamps, but lately, there seem to be a lot more stamps that are really THREE steps.

When a set is a multi-step stamp, they almost always come as Photopolymer. The Photopolmer stamps are SO easy to line up, this really makes Two or Three layers painless.

The sunburst in the background is a favorite of mine.  It comes from the set, Kinda Eclectic.

There are two sizes of butterflies in this set, as well as a few sentiments and accents, like the dots I used on my card, as well as the line of dots. You can really make a wide variety of butterflies with the layers included in the set. Use two or three wing layers in fun color combinations.

 If you purchased the Butterfly Basics bundle last year, this is a great addition to your collection because the butterfly dies from that bundle work with this set.  The medium lacey butterfly layers on top of larger butterfly stamp from the set.  The smaller die cuts out the smaller butterfly.  And there is a new Bundle for this year, including a lacey but out for the smaller butterfly.  Both bundles are still available and work so perfectly together.  Think of the combinations you can make!

I popped my butterfly up on dimentionals to let it take flight.

June My Paper Pumpkin

Hello Everyone!  Today I wanted so share what came with the My Paper Pumpkin kit for June.  These cards are super cute, don't you think?
The kit makes 4 of each and comes with a NEW color ink spot Tip-Top Taupe.  I love ink spots, they are small but mighty.  If I am going to a friends house to do some scrapbooking or if I go to one of those big crop nights, spots are a great way to go because they are so portable.  Stampin' Up! used to sell the spots in all of the Stampin' Up! colors but stopped a couple of years back so I am always super happy when I get a new color ink spot.  Last month we got crushed curry and Pacific Point, both added after the spots were discontinued so I was happy about those too!  Each month you also get a stamp set and this months set is adorable.

I always make the kits half as is and half I change things up a bit, but this time the only thing I changed was the sentiment.  I always need thank you cards and so I turned some into thank you cards with some other stamps I had in my stash. I liked the card design as is so I left that along.

I think the liners for the envelopes are so cute!
Why didn't I buy that die cut again? Hmm, I may rethink that.  It was on a weekly deal a while back and I should have gotten it.  For sure next time.

This card is a non traditional shape and very fun.

I needed a baby boy card, so I used a stamp from the "Say Something" stamp set for a couple of the cards.

Inside.

I keep my "My Paper Pumpkin" stamps in one of the Stamp cases, sold in sets of three by Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up! has designed an insert for the cases. http://www.stampinup.com/us/documents/Paper_Pumpkin_Insert_Wood_Case.pdf

I keep my Stampin' Spots in a case too.

Paper Pumpkin subscribers have access to past kit refills and full past kits while they are available.

Feel free to contact me with any questions about My Paper Pumpkin.

birthday blossoms ~ a bit sketchy

I really like the sketched look of the Birthday blossoms stamp set.  Maybe because I like to draw.  I decided to use some kraft paper for this card because I really like to draw on kraft paper so I thought this might be a fun idea with this stamp.  For a little pop of pattern I used some diagonal stripes from the Timeless Type newsprint paper collection, I LOVE that paper and I was very happy it carried over into the new catalog.

I cut the main image panel smaller than the images so that the flowers can go over the cut line. I like the way this turned out but I think next time I will make the flowers hang over even more.

The flowers on the bottom go over the page as well.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Here is the supply list.

Birthday Blossoms

I love the sketchy look of the new Birthday Blossoms stamp set.  I bought it, and some how didn't even realize that it worked with the pansy punch, so that was a bonus.  Don't know how I didn't realize that when I looked at the catalog as it shows the punch outline behind it.  As I was making the card I though, "huh, I wonder if this works with the pansy punch?" Silly me. At least it was a pleasant surprise and not a bad surprise :)

Another new product I used on this card is  the new Updated Essentials Paper Piercing Pack.  I really like the look of paper piercing, and so this new template pack made it onto my first order.

I love to use my Aqua Painters, so of course I had to give that a try too.

And a third card, quick and simple.

I love punches that work with stamps don't you?
