Butterfly Bundle

Stampin' Up! has announced a new promotion that starts TODAY!!  It's a Butterfly Bundle!  Super fun! I love my butterfly punch and anytime there is a stamp set that has a matching punch I am super happy!  Here is the deal...

Love it!  But wait, there's more!!  The September "Best of" set is out too!  It is "Best of Autumn"  and it has some really fun stamps in it.  The little tree with the rake is really sweet and I am going to  love coloring in the apples in the pail.  Lots of great stamps in this collection.

And, in case you  missed it, here is the "best of" from August.  It is called the "Best of Halloween".

If you are not familiar with the "Best of" sets, they are a collection of retired stamps from the last 25 years, in celebration of Stampin' Up's 25th Anniversary!  When you purchase any 6 "best of" sets, you get a Free set valued at $14.95.  Lots going on this weekend!

Use the hostess code DW2PWBNK when placing your order if you would like your order to get your "frequent buyer purchase points."   New to me? or my frequent buyer program?  Here's how it works.  When an order reaches a certain dollar amount, hostess rewards are given. Stampin' Up has come up with a way for us to include people who can't make it to my actual Stamp camp to still combine their orders with the stamp campers, which helps us all share in the hostess rewards.  You get a punch for each $10 spent, when your card is full, you get to share in the rewards, it can take you a day or a year or more to fill your card.  My local customers have an actual physical card, others just have a virtual card.  You enter the hostess code in a box located here...

There is a new Hostess code each time I put in a new group Stamp Camp order, so look for the newest code when you order.  This weeks code is DW2PWBNK and will last until September 7th. Confused?  that's O.K., give me a call or an email and I will help you figure it all out.  Well, that was a lot to read!  Go Stamp something!!

New Enveope Punch Board

I got my order today and I LOVE the new Envelope Punch Board!  It is so much fun! As a demonstrator I was able to pre-order it, but it will be available to all on September 1st.  I had to try it out right away.  I used a card from this week-ends stamp camp and made a matching envelope for it.

It was so easy and I just love the result.  The cost will be $19.95 and in my humble opinion it is worth every penny.   There are dimensions for so many popular envelope sizes right there on the board, and it comes with a scoring tool.  Fun Fun Fun!!
Contact me for more information or if you have any questions!
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Everyone!  I am the hostess today at MDS Monday this week!   I have posted a sketch challenge and I thought I would post it here for my non-digital friends as well.  You could easily adapt this sketch to a traditional scrapbook page.  Or, if you haven't tried MDS (My Digital Studio), why not give it a try?  You can try My Digital Studio FREE for 30 days by downloading the trial version.  Just go to my web store and click on My Digital Studio, then 30 day free trial.  This is a simplified version of My Digital Studio, but it will give you a taste.  Check out all the how to videos at MyDigialStudio.net and get started.

Here is the sketch.
Head over to MDS Monday to see what the other team members came up with.

More from the kit!!

Still using the card elements in the Merry Little Christmas Simply Sent Card Kit.  I am determined to make each one of the eight cards included in the set different from each other.  It has been really easy to come up with some fun cards because the basic layout is so simply.  I love this red snowflake from the Festive Flurry stamp set.  I used the matching Framelit dies to cut it out.  Easy Peasy!

I love this set with the matching Framelits and I am sure I will be using it a lot for gift tags and ornaments and cards!

This card uses the Wonderful Wreath Single Stamp, along with the Merry Little Christmas stamp.

Here I used Joyful Christmas.  I used blender pens to color in the Poinsettia.

This card uses the Joy to the World set.

So there you have it!  One kit, 8 possibilities! Lots of fun

One kit, so many possibilities!

Yesterday I showed you a couple cards I made with the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit.  Here are a few more!  The layout is the same, I just changed the stamp sets.

For this card I used the Santa's List stamp set.  I also added a bit of silver glimmer paper to the bottom of the banner.

This card uses the Wishing You stamp set.

I added a piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside or the card to use the rest of the stamps in the set.

Simply Created Christmas Card Kits

Did you notice all the fun kits in the new Holiday Mini Catalog?  There are a lot of kits and bundles and I am having a lot of fun with them.  This card is from the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit. I made this one just as the picture shows.  You have the option to buy the kit with the stamp set as a bundle or without the stamp set so that you can use a different stamp set that you already own, or in case you want to make more cards and don't need to buy the stamp twice.  The kit alone with out a stamp is only $9.95!!  Great price, in my opinion.  You get 8 card bases, 8 envelopes, 8 envelope liners, 8 pieces of striped cardstock, 8 white pieces of the banner shaped cardstock, 8 buttons and 8 pieces of green and white striped bakers twine.  Add just $10.00 more to get the kit with the stamp set in wood, or $8.00 more to get the kit with the stamp set in the clear mount style.

Here are the envelopes with the liners.  Really nice!

Here are all the pieces you get.

I decided to look through my Christmas stamps to see what else I could make with this layout.
Here is what I came up with...

Cute?

I plan to make each of the 8 cards completely different.  Check back in the coming days and see what else I came up with!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  As always, I am happy to help and answer any Stampin' Up! questions you have!!

Halloween Happiness

I was in the mood for Halloween today!  Not sure why.  Maybe I just wanted to ink up this fun new stamp!  It's called Halloween Happiness and I think its super cute!
I love the little patterned pumpkins. So, because of the fun patterns in the pumpkins, I used some fun chevron patterned paper.  The Tangerine Tango paper is from the Brights Paper Pack.

To cut out my main image I used the Decorative Label Punch in a unique way.  I placed the paper into the back of the punch, instead of where it is supposed to be in the side.  Then I flipped the paper over and did it again on the other side.  Hopefully these pictures will show you what I mean.

I punched out another piece in black and cut it apart to make the sides.

Here is another card  I made with this stamp.
Thanks for stopping by today!!

Insprired by my pillow

Take your inspiration where you find it.  I had the swallowtail stamp out on my desk for a few days.  As I walked through the living room I glanced around and noticed my pillow.  It hit me that I never colored the swallowtail like the pillow!  I see the pillow everyday and it never hit me till now to make a square card to match it.  So here it is.

And here's the pillow (from Target).

I used the paper piercer again, I seem to be doing that a lot lately.

Butterfly Birthday

This was a card I made for my Birthday Stamp camp that we ended up not doing.  But, I thought it was pretty so I figured I would post it here.  I love that extra large Swallowtail stamp, so big and beautiful! There have been several orange butterflies in the yard this week, so I decided on this orange and brown color scheme.  I used Soft Suede for the base and a layer of Tangerine Tango for a pop of brighter color.  I stamped the swallowtail in Soft Suede onto Crisp Cantaloupe.  I then used a blender ben to add some darker areas of Tangerine Tango.  I made a banner out of some Very vanilla scraps and stamped my birthday greeting in Tangerine Tango. I sponged some Crumb Cake around the banner to soften it up a bit.   A new Very Vintage Button and some linen thread finished off the card.   What's the pretty Designer Series paper you ask?  It is from the Venetian Romance paper pack.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
