Sneak Peek of the new Peaceful Garden Suite

Hi Stamping Friends! Today I want to show you what I made this past weekend at the Creativity Now event from Stampin' Up!  What a fun event! Creativity now is an annual event for demonstrators only where we get to be the class attendees and have all the projects and measurements figured out for us.  It was so fun to be on that side of things for a change and just sit and watch and learn.  We got a chance to see the new Peaceful Garden Suite, which will be in the next Mini Catalog this August. The Peace on Earth stamps are sentiment only with lovely phrases of caring such as a sympathy, hugs, and more. They also have a Christmas feel with the Peace on Earth and Joy stamps.  The co-ordinating dies are so pretty with two different doves, leaf springs, tiny envelopes for the doves to carry and pretty labels.  The Suite also has a Designer Series paper and glimmer paper, embellishments are lovely Misty Moonlight silver edged ribbon.  All so beautiful.  I show you each of these products in my YouTube video. I also give you an up close look at each of the cards we created, as well as one I made myself.  You can see them all in the video linked here:

One of the cards we made had a fun pull out tag on the front. So sweet. What a fun design. I will have to remember this template for future cards. You could change this up with any colors and sentiments.

This card uses simple strips of designer paper and a sentiment. So easy and yet so pretty. This is another one that would be easy to change up with other stamps and papers.

Normally I would add a link to these products in my Online store, however these wont be out until August.  Be sure to make a note to check back. In the meantime, try making a version of these cards with stamps and papers that you have on hand! and if you do, please feel free to share what you make in my Facebook Group, Beth's Paper cuts Idea Sharing Group.

Cheese card!

Yes! A cheese card! This is a silly card but I just love it! I have a lot of pretty birthday stamps but sometimes you want to send something a little silly.  We all have people in our lives who appreciate a pun or a joke card, or a little something silly. The One More Year stamp set delivers just that.  But, it's on the Last Chance List, so don't wait too long to get it!

I made my Cheese Card by randomly punching circles out of a piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock.  I also used a circle punch on some Basic White for my wine and cheese image. There is a full how to for this card on my YouTube Channel with measurements.

The sentiments in this set are really fun and even though it is about to retire, I know I will get a lot of use out of this set for years to come.  My sister and brother both like to poke fun at our getting older, so these will be great for Birthday cards for them!

Scenic Adventure

I really like this new Scenic Adventure Bundle from Stampin' Up! The stamps and dies are really fun and I just loved that line of trees die!  For this card I used Stampin' Up! Ink refills to paint ink on to watercolor paper. I wanted bright colors and choose Blueberry Bushel,  Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Secret Sea and Shaded Spruce.  The new Secret Sea is a fun new dark neutral and it really made the other bright colors shine.

I work at my local park district as a watercolor instructor and next week we are painting some fun watercolor Polaroids. I was working on the samples for that class when I was inspired to use the fun Scenic Adventure Dies to make layered paper scenes as mini Polaroid inspired cards.  I hope that look comes through.

I have a full how to for this card on my YouTube Channel.
