You Are Remarkable stamp set

 

I spent a couple fun afternoons playing with this new stamp set.  It's called 'You Are Remarkable'. I really like stamps that I can use with coloring techniques and this one really fits that bill.  The large flower image is great to color with markers, colored pencils, or watercolor techniques.  The stamp set also comes with filler stamps so you can actually just use the filler stamps to color in the image.  So many options! 

Here is a sample from the Online store. I love how they stamped the flower on Basic Beige card stock. So often I think I need to use white when coloring in an image, but the Basic Beige looks great with the soft colors on top. 

For this card I made one using the outline stamp and then another version just using the filler stamps without the outline.

For this card I used Stampin' Up! watercolor pencils. I love using the white pencil on Crumb Cake cardstock, so I had to try that out.  I also made a version in Pink. 

This simple side step card is a fun one and easier than you would think.  I like that it's different than a standard card but not too hard and still mails in a regular envelope.  I made a how to video for this card with measurements and some tips.
