Hi Everyone. This week I needed a card for a Christmas swap. I had the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set out on my desk so I thought I would use it again. I didn't want to make the same card for the Card Buffet as I did for my swap, since some in my downline attend the buffet, so I made a version 2. I hope you like it, and I hope the people in my Swap like it :)
What is hard to see in the photo is that the White background is embossed with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.
I used the new Foil Snowflake doily embellishments, which are just beautiful. You get 12 silver and 12 gold.
And here is a quick video to show you how this all goes together.
Do you ever wish you could have more Stampin' Up! products but wished you could get them on sale? Well you can! Join and get $125 worth of products for just $99!! Then continue to get a 20% discount to start and more as you grow. You will still get to take advantage of customer perks such as the Stampin' Rewards or any sales that are going on, and still get your demo discount. Cancel at any time. Hi Everyone! Today I want to show a card that will be available at my Card Buffet on Thursday night. This card uses some great new products from the Holiday 2017 catalog. The Winter Wonder Textured Impressions embossing folder is the main feature on the front of this card. I love the bigness of the snowflake and when embossed on vellum it looks so soft and pretty. On the inside I used the Snowflake Sentiment stamp set. I stamped the greeting in Basic Gray and added the Pool Party snowflake right on top. I also added a couple elements from the Swirly Snowflakes dies. On the inside, a snowflake in dazzling diamonds glimmer paper adds some sparkle to the greeting. On the Outside, the dazzling diamonds swirls add a bit of shine and a suggestion of movement.
I added Sheer ribbon in Whisper White and a touch of the mini sequin trim for shine.
I have a quick step by step video on my YouTube channel. Check it out.
Do you ever wish you could have more Stampin' Up! products? When I started out I bought in color families. I would buy a couple colors at a time, and a stamp set here and there and I was always wishing for a color I didn't have. One day my demo said I should think about joining. I didn't take the plunge for a while but I finally did 13 years ago and have never regretted it. Why not give it a try. I started just buying from myself and then as my children grew I added a class once and a while. Now I am holding many events and running a blog and YouTube channel. It's all up to you. Watch my join video for more information or contact me with any questions.

Hi Everyone! Today I would like to share a fun Christmas Quilt card that has an Origami like fun fold to it. I saw it first on Facebook as a Halloween card. Here is that link. http://www.stampyourartout.com/stampyourartout/2017/09/origami-twist-fold-card.htmlThe card is 8 by 8 inches when opened but it folds down to 4 by 4 and fits into a standard card size envelope.
I made a video to show how to put it together. It seems tricky to fold at first but give it a try and I think you will find it fun and easy once you get going.
Start with an 8 by 8 piece of cardstock and score at 2 inches on all 4 sides. Then add a score line at the 4 inch mark, but do not cross the center, only score up to that 2 inch line. Next connect all the 4 inch score as shown below.
I hope that you will check out the fun Collection of products in the Quilted Christmas Suite on pages 4 and 5 of the 2017 Holiday catalog.
Wish you had it all? Consider joining my team and start off with a 20% discount on all our fun crafting supplies. And as you go you will earn rewards and bigger discounts. Watch my join video for all the details, or contact me for more information. Product List
Hi Everyone! Today I want to share these fun Halloween Treats. I was so happy to see Test Tubes in the Holiday Catalog. They were so fun in last years September Paper Pumpkin, that I was hoping for something similar this year. Paired up with the Spooky Cat bundle and you have a winner!
This is such a fun collection of products for Halloween. The stamp set, paper punch and designer paper all coordinate to make adorable treats.
I just love that Cat punch. This collection of product will get a lot of use at my house. I see scrapbook pages and treats for the kids!
I made a video showing how to put together the Test Tube holders.
Did you know that Last Years Halloween Paper Pumpkin kit is available? It is a set of 16 Test Tubes, as well as a stamp set, an ink spot and tags.
You can get the full kit for $17.00. The full kit includes the stamp set, 16 test tubes and supplies to make 16 tags.
Or you can get the refill for $8.00, which has the 16 test tubes and supplies to make the tags, but no stamp set or ink spot. Use a stamp you already own, or get one full kit and one refill to make 32 treats!!
If you are a paper Pumpkin subscriber, you can add these past kits to you shopping cart when you order. If you are not a Paper Pumpkin Subscriber, you will have to contact me to get one of the kits I have on hand.
Here are the scoring directions for the test tubes so you don't have to rewind the video several times to get them. Start with a piece of cardstock 4 by 11 or 5 by 11 depending on if you want the one tube box or the two tube box. Then score at 1 1/4 on the long sides the cardstock. Then at 1/2, 1 3/4, 4 1/4, 5 1/2, and at 8 inches score from the side just to the 1 1/4 score line you made on the sides of the cardstock. You can see this on the video. Here are some ideas on what to put inside the treat holders.
m&m's (please note that the larger specialty m&m such as the Candy Corn flavor or 'Cookies and Scream' do not fit, only the traditional m&m's) or try these fun candy sprinkles from the Halloween aisle or the Baking aisle.
You can also fit about 5 Brach's Candy Corn pieces.
