Sending Love bundle from Stampin' Up!

Today I want to show you the Sending Love bundle from Stampin' Up!

This is a cute bundle with both a flat mailbox but also some dies to make a more interactive mailbox that you can put a real note in.  Fun!

You can write an actual note inside the little envelope, or just seal it shut and use it as an accent.

The stamp set has lots of images and a few sentiments to mix and match.

You can see the dies here and image using them with your other sets to create scenes or scrapbook pages.

Here are some samples from the catalog.

Here is the inside of my card.

I added the Happy Birthday from another set.

Below is a how to video for this card.

Painted Lavender Bundle from Stampin' Up!

I was immediately drawn to the Painted Lavender set in the Spring Mini Catalog. I have always loved lavender.  There are a bunch of huge Lavender plants down the street and when I walk by I like to run my hand through them as I pass.

One of my favorite items in the collection is the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper.  The background is Crumb Cake and floral images on the paper have a pretty watercolor look to them.

Here is the first card I made with this bundle.  On the outside I used some of the die cuts included in the bundle, and then a single tall stem for the inside.  To get multiple shades of purple,  I first inked the stamp up in Fresh Freesia, then used a sponge dauber to add a little Gorgeous Grape.

There is a whole suite of products that coordinate together beautifully. You can mix and match any of them and be sure to get a lovely result.  I love the Paper Butterflies.  You can add color with sponges or just leave them white.

Notes of Nature

First item from the new Spring Mini Catalog!

I just love the textures and layers you can achieve with the Notes of Nature bundle.  I used all the stamp images and most of the dies for this card.

The Card Base is Wild Wheat with a layered mat of Designer Series Paper in Wild Wheat on top. The Designer Series Paper is from the Softly Stippled paper pack, free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration.  I used Crumb Cake ink to stamp multiple images onto a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that I die cut with the 'notebook edge' die from the Notes of Nature Die set.  I further distressed the Very Vanilla piece to give it a ruffed up look by running my bone folder along the edges.  I layered some die cut stems in Mossy Meadow and Gold Foil, as well as some stamped images in a collage near the bottom corner, then added the sentiment on top. It was a lot of fun to combine all these elements and play with the distressing. There is a video step by step on my YouTube Channel.
