Humming Along with Stampin' Blends

Hi Everyone! Today I am sharing another new stamp set from the new Occasions Catalog.  This set is called Humming Along.  I really like it because it lends itself well to many coloring techniques.  For this card I used Stampin' Blends to color my images.
The Occasions catalog has a couple new Stampin' Blends Colors, Balmy Blue and Mossy Meadow.  I used Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight on the flower, and Balmy Blue, Mossy Meadow and Smokey Slate on the bird.

The frame is made with the new Stitched Rectangles framelits, a must have in my book!

Also new in the Occasions catalog is the Gingham Gala paper.  It comes in a pack of 5 colors, Balmy Blue, Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit Grove, Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather.

Right now Sale-a-Bration is going on, and if you spend $50 you can choose an item from the Sale-a-Bration catalog FREE! Spend $100 and get 2 items, and so on.  There are also some items that are larger that are free with a $100 purchase.  On this card I use a free product, the Organdy Ribbon combo pack. It comes with 5 rolls of organdy ribbon in the same 5 colors as the Gingham paper. It is very pretty, ties nicely and lays flat, perfect for mailing.

I love using the Stampin' Blends to color in my images.  I made a video to show some coloring techniques with the Stampin' Blends.  Be sure to give it a thumbs up and leave me a comment in the comments section :)

As always I dressed up the inside of the card with some left over paper scraps. Below is a list of supplies used.  Don't forget that when you shop with me you get rewards! Download the tracker sheet under my blog header and start earning points toward a free stamp set.  And right now get instant rewards with Sale-a-Bration, free item for every $50 spent.
