Stack of Gifts interlocking gate fold card

Hi Everyone! I want to share a fun card today. This was one of the cards we made at Stamp Camp last month. I wish you could see it in person because it is really fun to open.

The gifts are on opposite sides of a gate fold card, so when you open it, some end up on the right, one on the left. Super cute.

The bows are made from the Elegantly Wrapped stamps and dies. This is a fun stamp set that came out during the Holiday catalog release, but it is not a holiday stamp. I think the gifts would be great for baby showers or bridal showers, even birthday cards. And of course Christmas.

The stamp set has six different bows and four sentiments. There are dies for all the bows, and a really big additional bow that has added texture when cut out with an impressions plate. Impression plates are somewhat new so if you haven't seen them, check them out here.

For this first version, I used the Everyday Essentials designer series paper. I think this paper set would be great for just about anything. The colors would work for almost any occasion, but great for baby showers, bridal showers or a birthday card.

I cut squares with the smallest three square dies from the Stylish Shapes dies. I then created mats for them by cutting squares 1/8 larger in Misty Moonlight. I stamped the bows tone one tone on Lost Lagoon, Darling Duckling, and Bubble Bath cardstock.

The inside carries on with the theme with the stamped bow above the sentiment. I also added some of the Everyday Essentials Designer Series Paper to bring the outside of the card to the inside.

Of course I had to make a Christmas card too. Here I used the Creative Celebrations paper. The bows on this version are stamped in Hydrangea Hue, Peaceful Pine and Real Red.

I used a Merry Christmas stamp from the Noel Tidings stamp set for the inside.
