Love of Leaves

Hi everyone!  Today I want to share a collection of cards made with the Love of Leaves bundle.  This bundle is all me! I love fall, I love leaves and I love these colors!! I thought I would share a bunch of cards, all made with the same colors! 

First up is a card that I copied from the catalog.  Sometimes making a card that you see somewhere else is a good way to jump into the stamp set and get a feel for the products. I loved this card because of the fun plaid and the use of the negative space left behind when the leaf was cut out. 

For this card I took that same card idea, but turned it into a shaker card by adding a clear window sheet behind the open leaf and adding some sequins. 

I used the left over strip of Plaid Tidings Paper from the first card to make this card. I also used the leaf that was cut out.  The dies with this set are really fun with the stitching detail. 

I made a second card but changed up the sentiment. 

This card is from a swap and unfortunately I don't know who made it! (let me know if it's yours! ) I loved the style of this one and the pretty Vellum leaf.

PLAID TIDINGS SUITE

I'm often asked about the best all around stamp set or which stamp set a new stamper should start with. You know I love stamps, so I'd never say that there is one stamp set that covers all the bases, but the new August-December 2020 Mini Catalog does have a stamp set is about as close as it gets.
