New Pop-Up Petals Stamps and Dies from Stampin' Up!

 

Hi Stamping Friends! Today I want to share a card that we made at Stamp Camp last week.  This card uses the new Pop-Up Petals bundle.  The dies create a fun little pop-up element to the inside of the card. 

While the pop-up is a rather simple one, I just love how the dies made it effortless and perfect every time. I have made a pop-up like this many times with an Exacto blade or by carefully using my paper trimmer, but this was quick and easy, with no accidentally cutting to far or not quite far enough.  

The stamp set is very cute. I love the variety of flowers and the cute sentiments. 

 

 The dies cut out all the images and includes two sizes of pop-up cuts. The little odd shapes at the bottom of this photo are flaps. You can add the flaps to the sides of the box for extra cuteness! 

 

 

 

 

 I added the 'Just A Note' dies to the front of the card because I just LOVE that cute little torn piece of notebook paper! This is a fun die set to have, the little arrows and elements are great for journaling on scrapbook pages or to add a cute touch to your cards.

Gallery Blooms Center Pop-Out card

 

Hi Stamping Friends!  Today I want to share a fun fold card. This is a Center Panel Pop Out card.  It's a simple fun fold with just a few extra score lines and slits.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It's hard to see what it looks like in a flat image like a photo so I have taken a couple at different angles. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The center panel seems to float above the card. 

The card doesn't open in the traditional way, so there is an added panel to the back for writing a greeting and signing your name. 

For this card I used the new Gallery Blooms stamp set and dies. The dies cut out all the stamped images, AND they also come with two sizes of frame cuts out and additional leaves and greenery dies.

I loved the flower images for their use in coloring techniques.  Of course the first technique I had to do was watercoloring.  I embossed the image in Black Embossing Powder and then colored the flower with Peach Pie and Mossy Meadow ink.
