Hi everyone! Hope you are enjoying your week! I had a chance to use some new products this week and I wanted to share this one with you before the week was over. It was a really simple card to put together. I used the new Happy Heart embossing folder as the main star of the card. I really love the neat rows of hearts. The small heart was made with the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack, it happens to fit perfectly. I cut the letters out with the Little Letters thinlits dies. I choose Blushing Bride as my accent color so that I could use the Blushing Bride Cotton Ribbon. I have to admit that I didn't used to like Blushing Bride, I would always reach for a true pink like Pink Pirouette or Pretty in Pink, but I have really grown to like Blushing Bride and when I first got my 1/4 " cotton ribbon in Blushing Bride I just loved it, so pretty in person.
The splotch is made with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.
I then ran the cardstock through the Texture Boutique with the Happy Hearts Embossing Folder.
Then I cut out my pieces.
I popped the main panel up a bit by using dimensionals to adhere the front to the card base.
I couldn't decide if the fact that the letters were taller bugged me or not. So, I snipped them down. This wouldn't work with all letters obviously but since it worked here I figured why not.
