Joyful Holly loose watercolor

I need to make about 50 more Christmas cards!  Yikes!! I want something sort of easy but also that says me, so watercolor and stamps it is!

The stamp set I choose is called Joyful Holly and it has some very pretty swirly holly branches.

I embossed them in Silver and used Garden Green and Real Red ink to loosely paint them in.

The Joyful Holly stamp set is soon to retire, so grab it while you can.  I love the simplicity of it, and the ways that you can use just the outline or the filler stamps.  The Sentiments are great too.

This is a no fuss set.  No dies, no punches, just pretty stamps.

There are a few nice background paper choices for this one.  I looked for simple patterns in Garden Green.  I made the most with this Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper, but I see my photo shows one in Poinsettia Place.

A lot of the Holiday Papers are on sale right now, so check out the Year End Close outs for good deals.

Here is a how to video for creating this card.
