Hi everyone! This week my Facebook group "Mystery Kits" focused on using scraps! If you are not a part of my Facebook Group, consider joining and get in on the fun of monthly Mystery kits. These kits are free to team members and customers. Even if you are not a customer, if you are a someone who plays along with my challenges and contributes to the page, you can get a free kit too! We also have some color challenges and sketch challenges through out the month as well.
At the end of the month I try to do a Facebook live to put the Mystery Kits together! Well, this time I had a lot of technical difficulties with sound and internet connections. I ended up re-recording the video and posted it to YouTube and you can see that here:
Here are some of the Scrap Maps I showed in the video. I did not add sizes to the scraps on purpose because you can adjust so easily.
Here are some of the finished projects:
Once you use your patterned papers to create a background, it is really easy to add a label with a sentiment and some other stamped images or embellishments to finish the card.
These cards all use papers from the retiring In Color Designer Series Paper Pack. These colors retire at the end of April and many products in these colors are on sale now, such as the ribbon, markers, embellishments and more. check out the retired product "Last Chance Sale" here: http://www.stampinup.com/products/paper-designer-series-6x6-in-color-19-20?demoid=95176
These cards use the soon to retire "Flowers for Every Season" papers, which is also on sale. You can find that paper here: http://www.stampinup.com/products/flowers-for-every-season-6-x-6-(15-2-x-15-2-cm)-designer-series-paper?demoid=95176
