Gorgeous Leaves and Intricate Leaves Dies from Stampin' Up!

Hi Everyone!
Today I am working on Team Swap cards.  Our theme this month is Fall Leaves.  There are a few very nice leaf sets in the annual Catalog, Forever Evergreen and Love of Leaves sets are some of my favorites.  The new mini catalog has introduced another pretty leaf set called Gorgeous Leaves.  I seem to get all the leaf sets.  I truly love fall most of all, and so I think that's why I am drawn to all things with leaves :)

The Gorgeous Leaves set is very pretty for it's leaves, but also for the fun background stamps that are in the set.  Do you remember 'Gorgeous Grunge'? That was a super popular set a few years back and it was all about backgrounds.  This new 'Gorgeous Leaves' has similar great backgrounds with some added leaves thrown in! What could be more perfect?

For this card I used Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Old Olive, with some accents in Early Espresso. For a touch of shine I also added some leaves cut with Copper Foil paper.

The dies that go with this set have dies to cut the stamped leaves, but then they took it a step further with some intricate leaf cut outs and even a nice twig.

As this set is all image and no word stamps, I added a greeting from the Banner Year stamp set. If you don't have that one, take a close look at it, there are some great greetings and it will carry through a few holidays.

I added some Linen Thread to tie it all together.

Take a look at my how to video for a step by step and to learn about how to get this stamp and die set FREE (or one of 11 other choices) when you join Stampin' Up! now through September 31st.

I made another simpler card to show that you don't have to just use fall colors.  You could even go with non-organic colors like pink or purple for a pretty leaf card.  Here I used Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent with some Silver Foil.

The greeting is from the Ornate Thanks stamp set.

And one more because really the fall colors are my absolute favorite!
