I can't seem to stop making cards with the Pretty Pumpkin stamp set from Stampin' Up! I love fall, and I love coloring, so this set just really speaks to me.
I used Designer Series Paper from the Harvest Meadow pack for my background, then added a detailed die pumpkin in Brushed Metallic paper behind my main image panel, which was cut with dies from the Scalloped Contour Dies Collection (sort of a must have for me lately!)
The Pumpkins were colored in Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. The ribbon is a retired Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim. Be sure to check the Clearance Rack at the Stampin' Up! store because occasionally you can find some great ribbon and embellishments in our Stampin' Up! colors at nice discounts.
This next card is mostly copied from the Stampin' Up! catalog. I love to watercolor so adding the Splatter background was super fun.
I wet a piece of watercolor paper with my brush, then splattered ink in Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. Once the paper was dry, I splattered a little bit again to get some darker spots.
This next pair used softer colors of Pale Papaya and Old olive. I used a piece of Expressions in Ink designer series paper for the background.
The insides feature a small image of a pumpkin vine and plenty of room to write a nice greeting.
I hope my Pretty Pumpkins cards inspire you to think of fall and who you might be thankful for. I did not make a video for the cards in today's post as I usually do, but you can see a lot of my Pretty Pumpkins card videos on my YouTube channel to get ideas for using the set and ways to color the images.
