Daffodil Daydream

Today I wanted to show the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper before it retires at the end of the month.  The paper is FREE with a $50 purchase this month!

The Daffodil Afternoon paper pairs perfectly with the Daffodil Daydreams stamps and dies, which are $54.75, so that would be the perfect choice to purchase and get the Daffodil Afternoon paper FREE!

I colored the stamped image to match the paper with Pale Papaya and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends, and a Pear Pizzazz marker.

I used the Scalloped Rectangle and Stitched label dies from the Stitched So Sweetly die collection to finish off the card.

See how to video with some tips and tricks for this card here:

I was a little worried about running out of Pale Papaya cardstock and I needed it for my team swap card, so I implemented a little cardstock saving trick that I use from time to time.

I stamped my sentiment on one of the layering pieces where the cut out will be hidden on the finished card.

I cut the sentiment out with one of the labels from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

I covered the cut out area with the Very Vanilla Layer.

Here is what it looks like from the back.

And here is the front!

This could easily be changed to a Happy Mother's Day, Thank You or Birthday card.
