Flowering Tulips Bundle

Hi Everyone! Today I thought I would share a card I made recently for a swap with a Spring Flower theme.

I loved the Tulip dies from the spring mini catalog, so when I saw the theme of the swap was flowers I knew what I wanted to use right away.

The dies for this set are really fun because they fold over each other to really give the look of layers of petals.

You can use the tulip stamps or the tulip dies, or even a combination of both, to create a pretty bouquet.  There are some nice sentiments with this set too.  They cover a lot of needs, such at Thank You and Birthday, but also Mother's Day and even some any occasion stamps like thinking of you.

Here is a close up of the petals.  I just love the variety of petals and the dimension you get from layering them.

Here I cut the petals from paper from the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper.

I also used some Brushed Brass Butterflies (try saying that 5 times fast! I had a hard time saying it just once in my video!) to embellish the card just a little bit more!

Check out my video for a closer look at the dies and how they fold and work together.

I added the sentiment with some embossing on Vellum. I love the soft look that vellum adds to a card, and embossed sentiments always make the card look extra special.
