final day of 20% off Two-Toned Cardstock

Today is the final day of the Two-Toned Cardstock sale! Take 20% off all Two-Toned cardstock including multi-colored packs.   If you haven't tried Stampin' Up! Two-Toned cardstock, let me give you a little explanation.  Stampin' Up! Two-Toned Cardstock is printed, not dyed, giving it a white core. This also allows Stampin' Up! to print one side a darker shade, one side lighter shade of the same color.  This allows you to have a larger range of colors in your collection.  Tone-on-tone accents can be lovely and make beautiful backgrounds without adding too much.

I've added this photo from a page in the Annual Catalog because it highlights several ways to use the Two-Toned paper.  The Petal Pink card in the center top of the photo uses both shades of Petal Pink for a soft yet interesting and pretty background. The card base used the light shade, the circles in the darker shade. The Japan Scrapbook page also uses both shades of Petal Pink for the background.  The Dad card in the bottom left shows two shades of Garden Green.  It is so easy to layer different shades to get more interest in your cards without overwhelming them with more color. Sometimes more color is fabulous of course, but sometimes you want something more subtle.  The mountain card at the top right shows how tearing techniques can reveal that white core for a fun technique with layers.

This scrapbook page using the Weekend Adventures scrapbook kit also shows the tearing technique and the two shades of colors in the Old Olive cardstock.

Stampin' Up! scrapbook kits always use the Two-toned Cardstock for their kits.  The Two-toned cardstock is heavy enough for card bases, a little thicker than our Designer Series Paper, but not as thick as our dyed Cardstock. The slightly lighter weight is really nice in scrapbooks because of how heavy they can get in the layering of paper and pages in an album.

Two-toned cardstock comes in 12 x 12 size only. You can get single packs of every Stampin' Up! custome color, as well as some multi-color packs.  I went with the multi-packs for a big variety of colors.
