Thankful Garden

I fell in love with the Thankful Garden bundle due to the large floral images. I knew that they would be super fun for a variety of coloring techniques.  I look forward to using this stamp with some watercolor and colored pencil.  But first, I had to give it a go with the coordinating Decorative Masks.

There are three layers for the flower images and two layers for the leaf images on both flowers in the stamp set  For the Hydrangea I used Garden Green and Fresh Freesia.  I opted to use the same color on each layer. By adding a second layer of the same color, I was able to achieve a darker accent on top of the first layer. You could also layer different colors on top of each other to achieve another look.

The Blending Brushes are fun and easy to use. They come in packs of three in two sizes.  I have a full length video how to for this card on my YouTube Channel https://youtu.be/5lPo2TZuFoU

Last week we used some of these papers in a Virtual Scrapbooking Retreat and we even did some pages with grids of pattered papers, so I think I still had that on my mind as I created the background for this card. The Lovely Garden paper is meant to compliment these stamps and I just love the colors.  See that Scrapbooking Retreat album in my video here: https://youtu.be/9jVTUppwrWE

I hope you enjoy these cards and will give Blending Brushes a try! You can find the products used below.
