Sew Cute Valentines

Hello everyone!  I have a couple Valentines that I think are "sew" cute!  What do you think? They are pretty simple too.

I started with the Occasions Paper Piercing pack and picked the size of heart I thought would work best for my card.  I searched for quite a while and could not find my paper piercing mat!  I found a small older one, but the newer ones are a nicer size.  Maybe I need to clean my craft room!  Seems like it needs a big clean every couple weeks!

I went with the second smallest heart for the Kraft card, and the third sized heart for the Whisper White card. I only pierced every other hole.   Then I removed the template and pierced the holes again to make them a little bigger.

I stared by threading the bakers twine through the bottom hole, then moving bottom to top, threading moving clockwise going around to the right.

I finished the card with the new set "Crazy about you' stamp set and coordinating thinlits dies.

I did a simple back stitch on this card.  fast and easy.

I made a little heart button by piercing two holes into the paper heart.

I made the sentiment on this one with the  Rotary Alphabet stamp, so fun !  You can say anything you want with this!

Valentine's Day Lollipop Mustaches

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and if you are still trying to get an idea, here is a fast and easy one.  I have posted this a couple years in a row now, but it is cute and in case you are new to me or Stampin' Up!, I thought I would post it again!   The Officially Awesome Valentine's from Stampin' Up! is super cute, and since it's digital, you can buy it and use it right away!  The files are SVG files so if you have an ecutter, you can even print and cut them out right from your computer.  If you don't have an ecutter, they are easy to print and cut out by hand, as I did.
There are 4 different Valentines and a cute envelope too.  4 postcard downloads, one envelope, and  22 SVG stamps all for just $3.95.  The components that make up the Valentines come all made up but also seperately, so you can use the cute owl or heart flowers on other digital projects as well.  Notice the branch in my blog header, its from this download!  And I have used the other elememnts on numerous other projects.  I have cut out a lot of those mustaches over the past couple years!

I printed and cut out the mustaches, then punched a hole for the lollipop to go through.

You can put the treats in a cellophane bag or just use the postcards with out treats.  The O "fish" ally card is great with Swedish fish or fish crackers.

My card on Paper Crafters Library

Hi stamping friends!  I just wanted to let you know that one of my cards was featured on Paper Crafter's Library today!
Here is a link to my original post from July 11, 2014.  You can see a close up and how to on that post.  And here is a link to Paper Crafter's Library.  They are looking at wood grain a texture on cards and that is why my card is there :)  How fun to be featured on another blog!   If you are looking to get some Wood grain texture on your project, I have listed some of Stampin' UP's Woodgrain products below! check them out.  And don't forget, Sale-A-Bration is going on right now, so you get to choose a Free product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog with every $50 you spend.

Customize Project Life for Breast Cancer

There is a wonderful teacher at school who is fighting breast cancer.  She truly is inspirational.  I was always impressed with how she handled the class room, all the kids and the chaos, always with a smile, always warm and friendly.  I know she is a scrapbooker and thought she might like to try Project Life while she is at home resting.  It is simple and she could do it with her little girls.  I bought her a Happiness is card pack and an album, but I thought it would be nice to make some custom cards as well.

I made cards in all sizes, including journaling cards and accent cards.

I cut a bunch of extra paper so she can create her own.

Some extra embellishments and ribbon.

I used the "draw the line' stamp set for the journaling lines and some borders.

One of the nice things about the Photopolymer stamps is their flexibility.  I wrapped the lines around a smaller block when I wanted a card with lines that didn't go all the way across the page.

Thank You for stopping by! I hope you found something useful in today's post.  maybe you will be inspired to make your own custom cards.
