NEW Stampin' Up Online Class!
Our new online stamping class is now available! This class shares innovative ideas to get the most out of your supplies (from stamps to the Big Shot) with clever tips and techniques. Divided into six sections focused on a variety of topics, this class includes videos, step outs, and supply lists for 30+ projects. Check it out and talk about it. At $14.95 (item 133385) it's a great value for anyone.
PC InstructionsThe files will be downloaded as archive files that you can then extract and save on your computer. When you click on the download link, an extraction program will automatically launch. Choose the location where you would like to save the files (be sure to note where you save them). Follow the prompts on the extraction program, then navigate to the location where you saved the files. Click on the file and open.
Mac Instructions
When you click on the download link, the file will be mounted as a drive. Once it is mounted, open the drive and drag and drop the files to the location of your choice on your hard drive. The files can then be opened.
I checked out the section on coloring, since that has been what I've been working on for a while with the Everybunny set. I thought I was a pretty good colorer (is that a word?) but after seeing the work on the projects in the online class, I am definately going to take it up a notch. The instructions talked about going over your watercoloring with the matching marker color to shadow and highlight. Never thought of that. And the video showed watercoloring with the aqua painters. I usually use Blender pens, but I will have to get out my Aqua Painters a bit more, the look of them is really soft and pretty.
There are 7 videos and 30 projects with instructions and supply lists.
To purchase, just go to my online store and add item #133385 to your cart. You can then download it right away, no shipping!! Sale-a-bration is still going on though, so if you have a few other things you want, remember that if you spend $50 until march 22, you get to choose a Sale-A-Bration item free (there is shipping on that though.)
If you do use MDS and purchase a lot of downloads (who me??) , you will have to tell your computer where to store your online class. When I went to download it, the computer wanted to put it right into my MDS file. I cancelled the download and restarted it by clicking "save as" and putting it in my documents instead. You can save it any where you want, but I have a nice folder of things like this in my documents so that's where I put it.
Let me know if you have any questions!! I am always happy to help you out!

Hi Beth, thanks so much for posting a worthwhile review - so many of the other blogs that mention this today basically say it's available so buy it, with cut & paste wording from the demo site - but you give a very good example of a skill you learned that made the cost of the class worth the $$. So thank you for demonstrating added value!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are very welcome! I figured people would like to know what they were getting so I decided to give it a try myself. The samples are really cute. The file is saved on my computer so that I can axcess it any time I want to refrence it. I think it is a fun download. Not too expensive and full of ideas.
