Inspired Thoughts and Inspiring Canopy

I love tree sets and tree themes.  In this new Annual Catalog there are actually two new Tree themed bundles!  I am sure that I will be using them a lot.

I think my favorite is going to be the Inspiring Thoughts bundle. This bundle is unique in that stamps are all word stamps and the dies are all images.  I spent the day playing with different ways to use the trees with different seasons.

Take a look at just a few ways I used the set.  First up, with some pretty pink blossoms.

Next I used the trees for a peaceful Winter theme, great for a Christmas card.   This card has a twinkle of snow from the Wink of Stella pen, but it doesn't show up well in the photo.

Next I cut the trees out in Basic Black for a spooky Halloween scene.  The tombstones are punched from the Lovely Labels Pick-a-Punch.

The spooky night sky is made with a watercolor wash in Night of Navy and Gorgeous Grape.

Add some small flowers for a different way to make an early spring tree.  These flowers are from the Peach dies.

Make a sun with long rays with a sponge and post-it note to block off the rays.

I love the little hearts that mimic apples in this tree.  The resin hearts are from the spring mini catalog, which expires in June.
