Galaxy Bear with Polar Bear Dies from Stampin' Up!

If you have visited my blog before, you know that I love to watercolor. I did a watercolor technique a while ago that was a Galaxy sky Bear with a tree line at the bottom and when I saw the Polar Bear die, I knew that I wanted to recreate that look again, but this time with Stamps! I searched through my stamps for solid trees and found the perfect trees in the Peaceful Deer stamp set. Since I was using the stamps, I also made a version of the card with the Deer Punch.

This is a very fun and simple technique. You can see my step by step how to in the video below.

I colored my background on Fluid 100 watercolor paper. I choose Misty Moonlight, Gorgeous Grape, and Pacific Point. After painting the background, I gave the paper a splatter with Wink Of Stella. Next I cut out the Bear with the Polar Bear dies.

I added some tone-on-tone trees at the bottom of the Misty Moonlight card base. I also added some trees to the inside of the card.

Since I was using the trees from the Peaceful Deer set, I decided to try making the card with the deer punch too.
