Snow Globe Shaker Card

Hi Everyone. Today I am sharing another card from Stamp Camp.  We made these cute Shaker cards! I love snow globes and so I bought the new Still Scenes stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog right away.   My mom used to collect them, so we always had pretty snow globes around the house, in just about every size and for every season.
Also in the new Holiday Catalog are plastic "domes" that fit in the Snow Globe opening, perfect for shaker cards.  I made a few with the domes and they are super fun, easy and really give off a 3 dimensional Snow Globe feel.  They are thick though, so harder to mail. Perfect for adding to a box you are mailing off for the Holidays or hand delivering.  I also made a version that does not use the domes and instead uses a piece of Acetate or 'Window Sheet' to make the shaker globe. This is thinner and easy to mail in a standard envelope. I made a video for how to make this version, check it out.
Here are some other samples with this stamp set.

The dies that come with this bundle are really great and give you a lot of versatility.
The set also includes a nice sentiment stamp for the insides of your cards as well.

Shop with me! I would love to be your demonstrator.  I always send a hand stamped thank you card and sometimes more with a larger order, and I share my Stampin' Rewards with you through my Frequent Buyer Rewards! Earn FREE STAMPS! Click on the Frequent buyer tab to download the tracking sheet.

Mason Jar Snowglobe

Several Years ago I created this fun little Christmas card with the Jar of Love stamp set and matching Everyday Jars dies.  At the time, there was a coordinating stamp set with things for Christmas that fit in the jars, such as this cute snowman.  Since making that post I continue to get questions about it, mostly asking where to get the snowman.  I get notifications from Early November to late December about people saving this pin or watching the video.  Unfortunately the snowman was discontinued. Such a bummer.

But, since I still got so many questions and likes and saves on places like Pinterest and YouTube, I felt I should look into an alternative. So, the following year I made this little guy. Not quite the same snowman but still super cute.  He is in a set called Seasonal Chums which is in the Annual Catalog, as are the Jar of Love stamps and Everyday Jars dies.
The Seasonal Chums stamps are super fun because the snowman has both a front and back stamp, so you can even make the jar clear on both sides and show all around the snowman if you wanted to.

Here are some older videos showing these products.  The stamps and dies are really fun, and I hope you will check them out.

Nutcracker Snowglobe Card

Hi everyone!  Today I am using the Sugarplum Dreams stamp set from Stampin' Up!  I just love this nutcracker themed stamp set.  Maybe it has something to do with my daughter being a mouse in the Nutcracker ballet this year.   I plan to make a few of these for her Ballet Instructors this Christmas.

There are a lot of pretty details on this card, including the snow globe's base, made from the Everyday Labels punch, new in the Holiday Catalog.

Check out  my new video for tips and tricks to put this card together start to finish.
Here is the card from the Catalog.  I know I will be making many cute cards with this set this year, including a scrapbook page of my own little nutcracker mouse!
