Hi everyone! I have a fun Halloween card to share today. This card uses the fun Monster Medley designer series paper. I really love how this paper is so fun and festive and makes all your cards and projects so easy.
See those cute eyes peeking out from in between the trees?
The only additions I made to the card are the "Boo to you" pennant at the top and the smiling pumpkins at the bottom.
The pumpkins are from the Fall Fest stamp set. There is even a matching framelit die set to go with the stamps to make cutting out the images a breeze. Buy them together and save 15%.

MDS Blog Hop ~ Print Products
Hi Everyone! Welcome to the MDS Blog Hop! The MDS Blog Hop is brought to you by a group of MDS enthusiasts who have linked out blogs together to show you what you can do with My Digital Studio. We hope to inspire you to give it a try and join us in the fun! This week we are highlighting print products. I recently printed out an 8 x 8 photo book and a journal and I just love how they turned out.
I made a book all about our recent trip to Door County Wisconsin. Here is the cover. When making a photo book you can choose to use a template or design each of the pages on your own. I have done both. I love the ease of the templates and that the book flows so nicely, so on smaller books, I almost always choose a template. On this project I used the Today and Everyday download.

I made the journal to use as a way to keep track of ideas for sketches or color combinations or blog ideas. I made it to look a bit like my blog header.
There are two journal options, a soft cover bound journal like I have made here, and a spiral bound journal.
Keep on hopping by clicking the Next button and see what the rest of the design team is working on! We hope you get inspired to give MDS a try or if you are already an MDS user, we hope you will be inspired to try the new print services.

More cute paper from the Motley Monsters paper collection. I love those cute pumpkins. I added a super cute and quick tag using the Halloween Street stamp and some Crushed Curry Embossing Powder.
I made the tag with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. I also added a little bat from the Project Life Holiday Cheer stamp set.

Candy Corn Card
Hi everyone! I have another Halloween card using the Motley Monsters paper pack. This paper features candy corn so of course I had to make some paper punch candy corn as well. I used the new Christmas tree punch to make them.
I layered Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry and Whisper White.
To round the edges of the candy corn I looked for a punch with a round edge and I found my 1/4 inch circle punch. You could use any rounded edge you may have, part of a heart? flower petal? what ever you have.
The Trick or Treat stamp is from the Frightful Wreath stamp set. I embossed the words on to Basic Black with Crushed Curry embossing powder.

Motley Monsters Designeer Series Paper
The new Halloween paper from Stampin' Up! is really cute! I love the little monsters. There is a lot going on in the patterns though so I made a few cards that show off the papers and don't cover up the fun designs. This one shows the cute monsters. I added some additional elements to the left side, leaving the papers uncovered on the right.
Here is a close up on the left side. I used some stamps from the Freaky Friends stamp set to finish off the card. The cat is stamped in black with some Crushed Curry added to the eyes. I also added some spooky eyes to the Crushed Curry paper panel with Crushed Curry embossing powder.
The Trick or Treat stamp is from the Good Greeting stamp set, which is a special for hostesses now through Oct. 31st with a qualifying purchase. There is also a small Happy Halloween stamp in the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set if you are looking for an alternative. I used Crushed Curry embossing powder for the sentiment and a little Bermuda Bay candy dot for an accent.

Curvy Keepsake Box Pumpkins
I love the new Curvy keepsake box in the Holiday Catalog. I make a lot of favors, an amazing lot of them it seems and so anytime a new little favor box comes out I jump right on it. This little box is just so cute and can be used for just about any occasion. With fall approaching, the first thing I thought of was pumpkins, and I wasn't the only one! They are popping up on Pinterest like crazy! And some people have even made animals and angry birds. I am sure we haven't seen the end of the ideas for this adorable box! To make the box you need to use the Curvy Keepsake framelit die. The die comes with some cute tags too.
You need to cut our two in order to make the box. I thought it would be cute to add some lines to the box to mimic the ridges on a pumpkin. You can use a marker or a mask and sponge to make the lines. I looked though my stamps and found the "Draw the Line" photo-polymer stamp set and I used it on the sides of the box.
Next I softened the edges of the box by sponging ink around all the sides.
I added a face to some of my pumpkins for Halloween. I used the stamp set Fall Fest. There are three different faces in the set. You can also make these with out the faces and use them for any fall themed party. This set has a matching framelit set that I used to make the leaves.
Adhere your two pieces together. Whenever I make a box or treat holder, I make sure to use a very strong adhesive because I know that the box is going to be handled a lot more than a card. I used to use the red sticky strip, a great strong product, but recently started to use the new "Fast Fuse" adhesive in the new big Catalog from Stampin' Up! The Fast Fuse adhesive is a strong bond like sticky strip, but faster and easier to use.

First fold up the two sides that have the handles. Then you will need to fold one slotted side up and through the handles. Fill your favor with candy at this point. Then finish assembling your box.
Add some ribbon, leaves, what ever you like. I used Mossy Meadow ribbon and paper.
The stamps in the Project Life Holiday Cheer stamp set are sized just right for the tags.
This pumpkin without the jack-o-lantern face would be a great favor for your Thanksgiving table. I am sure I will be making a lot of these boxes in the coming months!
