Sweetest Cherries

I love this cute new bundle from Stampin' Up! called Sweetest Cherries. Cherries are a favorite, it's my go to pie if I'm choosing a pie for a picnic or BBQ, or on Summer Vacation in Door County and I find myself at Aunt Bea's , Yum!  I also always love a stamp set with a punch, so I grabbed this bundle up right away when I placed my first order from the new Annual Catalog.

I used a bunch of new products on this card, besides just the Sweetest Cherries bundle. I used 4 of the 5 new In Colors! The new collection of colors is so bright and cheery! I know I will use these a lot!  For this card I used Sweet Sorbet for the cherries, Parakeet Party for the leaves, Tahitian Tide for the 'birthday wishes' and Starry Sky cardstock for the "Sweet".  I felt bad leaving Orchid Oasis out of the card, but I thought that would be going a bit overboard. I will use it very soon I am sure!

I also used some new 2022-2024 6x6 In Color Designer Series Paper for the plaid strip at the top, and some 2022-2024 In Color Bakers Twine pack for the bow behind the sentiment.

To give my card a bit of a picnic feel, I stamped the cross-hatch image across the bottom of the card to act as a basket look. I also added the Basic Borders dies to the edge of my Basic White piece to give a look of a basket liner or linen napkin.

I really wish there was some cherry pie in the house!
