Hi everyone. Today I want to show you some fun Turkey party favors. These are really simple and you can look through your paper punches and dies to find things you already own to make them. I talk about several possibilities in my video:
For this version I used the Ladybug punch for the turkey body and feathers. The feet are from the retired Snowman punch but lots of other things would work, such as a little heart or branches. The beak is a petal from a flower.
I used Crushed Curry, Pecan Pie and Cherry Cobbler for the feathers and Pebbled Path for the body.
This second version used the Earthen Textures dies for the turkey feathers and the retired fish punch for the body.
Other great choices are the daisy punch or scalloped circles for feathers. The strawberry and penguin punches would both make good bodies too. There are always some fun punches on the Clearance rack, be sure to check it every so often for some great deals.
Hi Crafty Friends! This week I was asked to make some party favors for my mom's Condo Association Holiday Party. They wanted wrapped candy bars and I was given a Royal Blue spring as my color theme and mood. I decided to make an embellishment cluster with the So Many Snowflakes dies. I also cut sprigs from the Poinsettia dies. Both of these dies are part of the Seasonal Sale that is going on now and tomorrow.
The Seasonal Sale has 10% off all cardstock, 15% off all Stampin' Up! brand Ink Pads and 20% off all the dies in the Annual Catalog. WOW! I grabbed up some of the cardstocks I was running low on, plus some extra Basic White and Very Vanilla. I also replaced an ink pad I accidentally stepped on, and picked up a couple dies I didn't have (amazingly).
I was super happy when my mom said that she wanted to put the candy bar wrappers together herself, especially when she said she needed 70!!
I cut and cut and cut, then packaged it all up to hand off to her and the party committee.
I also made them a video so that they knew how to put them together.
A few short days later she sent me this photo of the completed projects! I hope they look great on the fancy party tables! If I get a photo of that, I will add it to this post later!

Hi everyone. Today I thought I would share some punch art of a Grinch. I revised an old post to make the Grinch using current products. Here is my original post from 2012. I get a lot of questions on how to make that Grinch, but it used a lot of retired products since the post was so old. I looked through my punches and remade the Grinch using current products. Now when I say current, I mean that as of today. The Jolly Hat Builder Punch is retiring!!! That is such a great punch that I can't believe that it is not staying around, but I am glad that I have it and I really think you should pick one up while you can! And, it's on sale!! Another thing that is retiring and on sale is the Naughty or Nice stamp! It is from a set called Greetings from Santa. Check out all the Year End Close Outs here!

The Grinch's head is made from the Acorn Punch. The nose is a foot from the Owl Builder Punch, as are his yellow eyes. The eyebrows are from the Sprinkles confetti punch. The Hat is the Jolly Hat Builder punch.
I use Old Olive for his head, So Saffon for his eyes, and Early Espresso for his eyebrows. The hat is Cherry Cobbler with Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.
I hope you like this silly little Grinch. You can use it on tags or cards, scrapbook pages or treat bags! Fun!
Hi everyone. Many years ago, 2012, I made some candy bar wrappers that were very well liked. I have gotten many requests for directions over the years and I ended up typing out some simple directions, but the punches that I used had been long retired and people couldn't buy them, so the directions didn't really do much good to anyone. Well sure enough, around October this year, the requests started coming again and that old blog post came back to the top in my views. I decided to take another look at the newer paper punches to see if I can make a new version using all current products. So this is what I came up with. You can see the old post here.
This version uses the Best Badges punch for the head and beard, the double petal from the Festive Flower Builder punch, and ovals from the Layering Ovals framelits.
The small circles for the eyes and nose are from the Owl Builder punch.
I made a video how to that shows how I put this together.
