Hi everyone! Today I am participating in a Global Blog hop with my Facebook Friends from the group Scrapbooking Global. We are a group of Stampin' Up! enthusiasts who decided we needed a place to share our scrapbooking ideas or questions. If you are interested in joining our group, I hope you do. I decided to use the Colorful Seasons bundle on my Blog Hop project because it is just such a great bundle for Scrapbookers! The Bundle has images and dies for every season, and it is so pretty and versatile.
I love the pretty snowflakes and that there are three sizes. The fall leaves, cherry blossoms and summer images will get a lot of use on my pages this year as well.
I started out by just cutting a variety of snowflakes. I used Whisper White and Dapper Denim cardstock, as well as vellum.
I also used my Aqua Painter to make some that are multicolored. I just painted some Dapper Denim ink onto some Whisper White cardstock, then cut the snowflakes out. I love the random color I achieved on the snowflakes.
I used a card from the Memories and More Color Theory Card Pack to add a title. I used the 2 1/4 inch circle punch to cut just the sentiment out. I layered some silver ribbon behind.
To add a touch more silver to the page I also added some rhinestones to the centers of some of the snowflakes.
With all those snowflakes and the card pack on my desk, I couldn't help but make a card as well. I even used the card with the circle cut out as a layering piece behind my "Let it Snow" card!

The inside uses pocket pages and I wont show you all of those as they
are filled with photos by others and of others who may not want to be
online, but it was a fun project to put together and I think using these
smaller 6 x 8 books is a great idea for a single occasion book, such as
a family vacation or a wedding, reunion, or whatever event you are
celebrating. I filled in the pockets with lots and lots of photos and gave each family an assortment of Memories and More cards so that they could write down their own thoughts and memories in the spaces I provided. I also included a page with a few photos from when my grandmother and her family were vacationing there in the 1940's.
