Join ~ Just do it!

Hi Everyone!  By now most of you should have had time to go through the new Occasions Catalog and I bet you found some items that you just have to have! Probably a lot of items!  Well, if you have found that you want more than $99 worth of items, I have a deal for you!! It's not really my deal, it's Stampin' Up's! deal but it is a great one!  Join!  If you become a demonstrator anytime between now and March 31st, you get $155 worth of what ever items you choose, for just $99!! And it ships FREE!   There is no catch!  You are then a demonstrator for as long as you want, drop at any time.  To stay active you need to meet a minimum, $300 a quarter, but you can decide to just let it go if you want.  And, You get to stay active until the end of the first full quarter of your demonstrator ship so you will remain active until June 30th without doing a thing.  You can check it out, take it for a test drive and if you want to be done, do nothing and you will be dropped from as a demonstrator.    You will get all the benefits of being a demonstrator right away, which includes a 20% discount, access to a demonstrator website with an online forum for Q&A and a gallery full of ideas, a bi-monthly magazine with helpful tips and ideas, a weekly email with a project of the week and info on upcoming deals, and more!  Decide to kick it  up a notch and sell? That's great, you can get rewarded with free products and a bigger discount the more you sell.

To be honest, I don't think you will let it drop.  There is a lot to love.  And the new Holiday catalog comes out for demonstrators in July and you wont want to miss that!  Maybe you are now thinking, see, that's a catch, I'll become hooked.   But that's OK, you will save on what you love.  And maybe you will do like me and decide that you want to hold a monthly class and sell a bit on the side.  Then maybe you'll see that holding a class is fun and gets you out of the house and spending time with other new friends doing something you love.  And then maybe you will see that you end up not really spending money because you are also making money and now your hobby is paying for itself.  And then maybe it will start paying for itself and some fun new shoes as well!  It's all up to you and how much or how little you want to do!

Bloomin' Love Suite!

Hello stampers!  These are some cards that we made at Stamp Camp last weekend.  We used the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die and the Bloomin' Love stamp set and Love Blossoms designer series paper stack.

I started out by cutting out the Hexagon Hive  Thinlits piece in Rose Red.   To attach the die to the card base we used our Snail tape runners to add strips of adhesive to the Thick Whisper White card stock.  The adhesive will come through the Hexagon Hive piece and that is a good thing because this will be how we adhere the designer paper to the empty spaces.

To get the scrap pieces used to fill in the empty spaces in the Hexagon Hive I just ran several different patterns of paper from the Love Blossoms designer series paper stack through the die, but this time instead of using the main image, I used the scrap pieces.   Here is was just like a puzzle, trying to find papers that fit into the little sides and corners in different patterns.

The Bloomin' Love stamp set was used to make the main image sentiment.  The banner could be cut out by hand, but yippee, there is a framelit that fits it from the Large Number Framelit set!  I used the circle framelit dies to cut out the heart and Garden Green mat layer.

We also made these cute little boxes.  I used the  Gift bag punch board to make them.  I actually bought this punch board a really long time ago. but never used it.  Now I seem to use it all the time!  I made a lot of gift bags this past Christmas.  It is so easy and fun!

Now I had a lot of these peices left over from when I used the punched out pieces to fill in the Rose Red base layer.  I didn't want to toss them all so I thought I would put a couple to use on a scrapbook page.  After all, they are scraps and what better use are scraps than on a scrapbook page?

I played around with the pieces by cutting them up a bit.

Here is what I ended up with.
That sweet little bow is from the Love Blossoms embellishment kit, as is the Gold foil heart doily.

The number 2 is from the Number of Years stamp set.

We also made this card at Stamp Camp!  So pretty!  I love the Blushing Bride glimmer paper!!

Well, that is a lot of fun out of the Bloomin' Love suite!   You can check out all the products in this suite here!
And remember, when you purchase $50 worth of products during Sale-A-Bration, you can choose a free product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog!  Sale-A-Bration runs through March 31st!

More Bears!!

Hello my blog friends.  I am sharing more project from the Bear Hugs set today.  These are fun little birthday cards for the fisherman in your life.
I really like the little fishes for some reason, and I am not a person who enjoys to fish.  My brother does though so I see him getting one of these in the  near future.

I used the paper piercing template to evenly poke some holes around the bottom corner of the card.
I punched every other hole six up and six across.
Then I removed the template and pierced the holes again to make them a little larger to more easily put the thread through.

If you haven't already learned of dental flossers to thread buttons or ribbon through holes, then let me tell you, it is fabulous!  I keep a container in my go bag and on my desk top and use them all the time.

I made a sort of messy net and then added a bit more linen thread to the greeting.

more bear cuteness from the catalog!

I love it when there is a punch or framelits to cut out the pieces!

Bear Hugs!!

When I got my new catalog back in November I just loved everything in it.  My daughter Jillian came over and looked at some of the pages with me.  Later that night when I looked through it again I saw this written on the bottom of the page!  Normally I would not be too happy that she wrote in my brand new catalog, but how could I be mad at that cuteness!
So, I thought I would share a few things that I made with this stamp set since the catalog has finally gone live yesterday!

First thing I made is this little tiny card to put in Jillian's homework folder.  She loves it when I put little things in her backpack or lunch box.  This is a tiny 3 x 3 note card.

Next I made a super simple page with the whole bear family.   I used Hello Honey paper of course, since it was bears :)

I then just stamped a whole bunch of pieces from the set on a lot of scrap paper.  I was in the mood to color, so I made a whole bunch of pieces. This way the next time I want to created a card or project with the cute little bears I will be all set.
