Upcoming Stamping Events

Monthly Inspiration from the new Annual Catalog

This is an exciting time of year because both the Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration start this month! I always love all the Autumn and holiday goodies we get to see this time of year, but this year is extra-exciting - It's the first time ever that it overlaps with Sale-a-Bration!

If you don't have the new catalogs yet you can view them online starting August 3rd or contact me to get a copy.

I have so many great, new things to share with you this month, so make sure you check out what's happening and RSVP for events!

As always, feel free to contact me at any time! I love to discuss all things stampy!
Sincerely,
Beth

Card Buffet selection

I don't normally post my selection ahead of time, but I thought I would today because I am actually all done prepping a whole day early. That never happens! Here are the October Card Buffet options

What is a Card Buffet? Well it's like a food buffet in that there are a lot of options, and you can get as much of an option as you like until it runs out.  Cards cost $2.50 each or 5 for $10, 10 for $20 and so on.  It is a relaxed atmosphere, you work at your own space at a table, perfect for chatting with friends while you get creative! Come and go anytime during the event.  I have all the supplies you need, just bring yourself and maybe a friend :)
I also added a scrapbook option but here is where there is a difference.  With the cards, if I have left overs I just make the cards and sell them or use them myself, so I pre-cut a bunch of each.  With a scrapbook page, I don't want multiples for myself, so I don't pre-cut these.  If you want to make a scrapbook page at the event, you need to sign up for it and I will have a packet ready for you.  Pages are 1 page $5 and a two-page spread is $8.

Card Buffet is Thursday night 6:30 to 9:00 or Friday morning
9:00 to noon.  Open to all, even other Stampin' Up demonstrators who just want to stamp with others.

Single page would look like this, perfect for  a larger photo.   Add some journaling under the title. This is set up for 12 x 12, but we could make it work for an   8 1/2 by 11 too.    This is a page found on the Facebook group Scrapbooking global, made by Julie Davies.  This is a great site for those who like to scrapbook.  Join us! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1204438373008307/?ref=bookmarks
You could also put two photos on the page like this...

or you can make the page hold 3 photos like this.  What ever works for you.

If you want to make a two-page spread, we can add a coordinating page for an additional $3.

What is a Card Buffet?

Hi everyone!  You may have seen my posts or ads about my Card Buffet and you might wonder, "What is a Card Buffet?"   Card Buffets are super fun and are tailored to just what you need or want to do.  Just like at a Food Buffet, you can pick and choose just what you want to make.  I had a few people ask me about the card buffet that I run, and I thought I would share a quick video so that someone who is interested can see what it is like and get a better understanding of the types of things we do.  I run these twice a month, one evening and one daytime.  You can come to which ever fits your schedule and come and go any time during the time slot.  Customers and fellow Demonstrators are welcome. I hope that you will join me sometime!

Card Buffet

Hi Everyone!  This week I am preparing for my Card Buffet on Thursday.   I got a little bit behind with all the Thanksgiving goings on, so I have no new projects to post! YIKES!  I thought I would let you know a bit about card buffet in case you have never been to one before.  It works like a food buffet in that there is a variety of offerings, and you can make as many or a little as you want.  I usually have 10 different projects to make, maybe more, never less.  Some will be a repeat of the month before but no more than 4 will be repeats.  At the card buffet you choose your cards and then you can sit and make them in your own time, taking the supply box to your table.  This is a casual event where you can sit and chit chat with friends. Come when you can, leave when you need to, any time between 6 and 8:30.  At the card buffet I also have a few Paper Pumpkin kits available for sale, as well as a display of cards from past Stamp Camps, or Blog Posts that are available for purchase.
Cards are $2.50 each or 5 for $10.00  make one of each of the cards or 5 of one 5 of another, what ever combination you want.  New to me? Get your first card free.  If you are a regular attendee but you bring a friend, you'll get one card free.  All supplies are provided.
So far for this month I have 2 Christmas cards, in case you need a few more, and 2 Birthday cards created, and I will be working on the rest today and tomorrow.  I hope you can make it! I hold my events at the Lombard Church of the Nazarene, upstairs room 202.  Contact me for directions.

One Wild Ride

Hi Everyone.  Today I am sharing a card that will be part of my Card Buffet offering this Thursday night.  Card Buffets are a new part of my class offering and they are meant to be a way for you to have a variety of cards on hand to use for any occasion.  I have a buffet of cards to choose from, around 10 to 12 different styles, and you can make one of each or 2 of some or 10 of one style, what ever you like, just like a food buffet.  Cards are $2.50 each or 5 for $10.  10 for $20, the amount you make is up to you.

This month I have 10 cards.  One baby, one wedding, one sympathy, one Thanksgiving, some any occasion, some Birthday and two Christmas.  There is something for everyone.

There are lots of fun details on this card, such as the embossed silver foil and the splatter background.
I made a quick video so that you can see how it all comes together.

I hope that you like today's project. Here is the supply list.
