Stylish Sketches Stamp Set from Sale-a-Bration

Hi everyone! Today I am playing around with the Stylish Sketches stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog! Sale-a-Bration runs July and August and there are many items to choose from, FREE when you spend $50 or some when you spend $100. The Stylish Sketches stamp set is one of the free with a $50 purchase items.

I love the sketchy look to the images on this set.  I love to draw and these stamps made me think of an art journal. I thought I would go with that feel by adding the fringed edges to look, as if they were torn from the pages of my journal. The Die I used to achieve this is from the Happiness Abounds bundle.

In keeping with my Art Journal feel, I used my Watercolor Pencils to color the images.

Check out my How to Video here:

The fox is my favorite as we have one that roams through our yard a couple times a week.

I paired the cards with the Rings of Love Designer Series Paper.  This paper is also FREE with a $50 purchase.

Here's a picture of our neighborhood fox going down the driveway.

I think these would make a nice note card set.

Shop with me! I would love to be your demonstrator.  I always send a hand stamped thank you card and sometimes more with a larger order, and I share my Stampin' Rewards with you through my Frequent Buyer Rewards! Earn FREE STAMPS! Click on the Frequent buyer tab to download the tracking sheet.

Hello Cupcake Gift Card Holder

Hi Everyone. Today I am sharing a gift card holder made with the Hello Cupcake stamp set.  The Hello Cupcake set is a Sale-a-Bration set, which means that you can get it FREE with a $50 order.  It is a really cute stamp set, perfect for birthdays and we always need birthday cards.

The template is super simple and can be adapted for other stamp sets and papers.  In Fact, maybe it looks familiar to you? I did a card with this same design but for Christmas.  You can see that blog post here: Easy Christmas Gift Card Holder.

I made a video to show you how to put it all together.  Check it out and give it a thumbs up :)

Brusho Crystal Colour

Hi Everyone! Today I want to introduce you to Brusho Crystal Colour.  Brusho is not a new product, but it is new to Stampin' Up! and it is really fun to use.
The color is in Powder form, very fine like powdered sugar.  You can use it a few different ways but in essence you add water to get the color onto your projects.   One way to add water is with Aqua Painters.  You can wet down your watercolor paper or Shimmery white cardstock with an Aqua Painter, shake the Brusho over the wet area, and watch the color spread.  Another way is to sprinkle the powder onto the project and then spray with water.  That is how I did my sample here.
I think it's best to show you this project with a video rather than words and so I made a video.  It is a little longer than I would have liked it to be, but there was just a lot to show :)

I hope you will give Brusho a try. I plan to use it quite a  bit! I will share other ways to use it in the weeks to come.
Don't forget...
Sale-a-Bration is going on now! With every $50 you spend you can choose a FREE Sale-a-Bration product.  My card above uses the Celebrate You dies, one of the Sale-a-Bration options.
