Quick and Easy Gift Card Holder

Today I would like to share a quick and simple gift card holder, just in time for Christmas.  You can change up this simple design for just about any occasion.  This version only uses punches, so it is great if you don't own a Big Shot.
I used the Mistletoe Season stamp set and Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper.

The base is 8 1/2 by 5 1/2, scored at 1 1/4 and 4 1/4.  The 1 1/4 flap is folded in to be the part that holds the gift card.

This card design is also great to hold a photo.  Photos are great to give at Christmas. Other times would be school photos to family members, new baby announcements, Wedding and more.

Below is a video with step by step instructions, with a tip for cutting multiples.

Faux layering with the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set

Hi Everyone! Today I want to show you a wintery card that is not a Christmas card! It uses the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set and there are a variety of sentiments with this stamp set that can be used for many occasions.  This one reads "If a hug were a snowflake I'd send you a blizzard."  This would be great for a friend you are missing this holiday season, or for someone you know who could use a little pick me up.

I am using a Faux layering technique to make it appear to have a torn layer, but it is really just masked off with a post-it note and sponged over.
I have a quick how to video that shows how to make this card.  You can see it below.

Right now there are a lot of Christmas and Holiday items that are "while supplies last" including the Beautiful Blizzard stamps.  click on the items below to shop while they are still available.

Year End Close Outs

The Holiday catalog is coming to a close and this is your last chance to get some of these fun products!  Several have been discounted and others are just 'while supplies last' at this point, so get
them while you can.  A few things are going to be carried over once this catalog is over, such as the Winter Woods stamp set and dies, and the Frosted Florals, but this will be your last chance to save 10% by getting them bundled.  You can check out the complete selection by clicking here: https://www.stampinup.com/ecweb/default.aspx

While you are at the Online Store, be sure to check out the clearance rack! There are a few Dies from Last Christmas that are now on sale up to 50% off, and they don't require the stamp sets to be awesome.  Here are a few:

Look at the detail on the sleigh! And the deer and three are great for cards and scrapbooks.

This set makes adorable boxes. Great for gingerbread houses but also just cute in general. Think of fairy houses, dog houses.  Cute as a box or make them flat for a card or scrapbook page.

This Detailed Santa Dies is great for cards, and you can use it with any Christmas stamp set you already own.

These stocking dies are super fun on a scrapbook page, home decor piece, or card.

Mason Jar Snowglobe

Several Years ago I created this fun little Christmas card with the Jar of Love stamp set and matching Everyday Jars dies.  At the time, there was a coordinating stamp set with things for Christmas that fit in the jars, such as this cute snowman.  Since making that post I continue to get questions about it, mostly asking where to get the snowman.  I get notifications from Early November to late December about people saving this pin or watching the video.  Unfortunately the snowman was discontinued. Such a bummer.

But, since I still got so many questions and likes and saves on places like Pinterest and YouTube, I felt I should look into an alternative. So, the following year I made this little guy. Not quite the same snowman but still super cute.  He is in a set called Seasonal Chums which is in the Annual Catalog, as are the Jar of Love stamps and Everyday Jars dies.
The Seasonal Chums stamps are super fun because the snowman has both a front and back stamp, so you can even make the jar clear on both sides and show all around the snowman if you wanted to.

Here are some older videos showing these products.  The stamps and dies are really fun, and I hope you will check them out.
